Paws Media is a division of Performing Arts Workshop (registration number 2011/140010/07). Performing Arts Workshop is a one-stop arts centre on the West Rand, offering a wide range of classes – from fine art to singing, dance, drama and creative writing/ photography. Paws Media organises and presents the creative writing and photography workshops at the centre. These workshops are mainly aimed at schools, giving learners who are interested in these fields the opportunity to develop skills which will aid them in pursuing studies/ careers in the fields of creative writing, journalism, and/ or photography. An extension of this division of Performing Arts Workshop also assists participating learners/ schools in producing their own newspapers.
