🧾 What’s actually happening

1. Cape Town City appeal successful

An arbitration panel ruled in favor of Cape Town City, finding that Marumo Gallants improperly fielded midfielder Monde Mpambaniso in 26 matches without proper registration clearance — violating PSL rules .

2. Consequences for Marumo Gallants

If the PSL’s disciplinary committee enforces this ruling, Gallants could lose points for every match in which the ineligible player took part, which would severely impact their league position. That could even lead to relegation and overturning the play‑off outcome .

3. MTN8 implications for Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs ended the 2024–25 Premiership season in 9th place, missing out on MTN8 qualification by finishing one spot below the top‑8 cutoff . If Gallants are docked enough points, Chiefs would feasibly move up into 8th place, thus gaining MTN8 entry.

💔 Rest in Peace, Lesego Masina (32)

A heart-wrenching tragedy struck in Boikhutsong, Phase 8, when Lesego Masina was senselessly killed during a home robbery at her family residence. Her passing has left a devastating void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. 💐

“The suspects stormed the house, demanding phones and valuables. They tied up family members, asking them to identify themselves. When they reached Lesego, they led her into one of the bedrooms and shot her in the forehead. She died instantly.” 💔😭

Lesego was laid to rest on Sunday, 27 July, at Soshanguve Crossing Cemetery. She was remembered as a joyful, kind-hearted, and gentle soul, someone who brought light to every space she entered. 🕊️

Her loss is immeasurable, and her loved ones are left with a pain that words cannot ease. May justice be served swiftly, and may her memory remain a source of strength.

🕯️How do we end the violence tearing through our communities? 💔😭

“A Drug Lord by Night, a DJ in the Spotlight - Entangled in a Missing Multi-Million Rand Syndicate”

DJ Sumbody’s Deadly Double-Cross and His Alleged Link to the ‘Big Five’ Criminal Network

The murder of DJ Sumbody was not a senseless act of violence it was a planned and deliberate hit, allegedly linked to one of South Africa’s most powerful drug syndicates, known as “The Big Five.”

According to sources, DJ Sumbody initially entered into an agreement with a notorious taxi boss, permitting drug distribution at his Ayepyep Pretoria nightclub in return for financial backing. But things changed. He later insisted the drugs could only be moved through his Cape Town branch. Once that venue launched, he pulled out of the deal entirely.

This move was seen as betrayal. DJ Sumbody held sensitive information names, money trails, and operational details regarding a drug consignment that had gone missing from police custody in KwaZulu-Natal, reportedly stolen by corrupt officers. That same stash later reappeared in Johannesburg’s club scene, sold at unusually low prices, raising alarms among the original owners.

Whether knowingly or not, DJ Sumbody found himself entangled in a dangerous web. His association with the operation made him a liability. Businessman Katiso “KT” Molefe, now a suspect in the murder, is believed to be deeply connected to the same network. It’s alleged that Molefe was among those who decided Sumbody had to be eliminated before he could reveal too much.

There’s nothing heroic about DJ Sumbody’s death or the criminal world he was reportedly part of. His decisions helped fuel the drug trade an industry destroying lives, crippling youth, and draining the soul of South African communities.

Live by the sword, die by the sword. His fate is a chilling reminder of the deadly cost of fast money and criminal ties. Drugs do not bring status they bring ruin. Those who profit from the suffering of others have blood on their hands.

Let this serve as a warning: Crime might sparkle at first, but it always ends in darkness. There are no shortcuts to lasting success. Choose your path and your circle wisely, your future depends on it.

There’s no glory in gangsterism. No honour in betrayal. And no future in fast riches.

🚨On Podcast & Chill, Advocate Teffo says that Kelly Khumalo accidentally shot and killed Senzo Meyiwa.

He claims that Longwe Thwala (Zandile Khumalo’s boyfriend at the time) got jealous, thinking Zandile was getting too close to Senzo’s friends. So he brought his father’s gun to scare them.

A fight broke out, and during the chaos, Kelly took the gun and it accidentally went off.

Teffo also claims that Advocate Baloyi is hiding the truth and might even be related to Chicco Thwala.

He says Chicco, who was managing Kelly at the time, was the first person they called after the shooting. Chicco then supposedly called Irvin Khoza from Orlando Pirates to tell him what happened and to help cover things up.

Teffo also claims that 11 people linked to the case have died, possibly to protect Kelly and Longwe.

According to him, the five men currently on trial are innocent and some weren’t even in Gauteng when Senzo was killed.

Lastly, Teffo accuses the former Gauteng police commissioner, Elias Mawela, of being a major drug dealer, linking it to comments made by General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi last week.

Do you think Teffo is telling the truth or just saying wild things to go viral?
