15 tragic stabs that almost took Avelenkosi's life.

Alicia Nkutu lives in Jeffreys Bay, Eastern Cape, with her two-year-old daughter, Avelenkosi Nkutu. Alicia lives in a flat and on Christmas Day & New Year's Eve, she spent the days with one of her neighbours [yard mate] in these flats. On New Year's Eve, this neighbour Nkutu refused to mention suggested that they go out to a tavern for a year crossover and she made an excuse of having a baby she just can't live behind. The neighbour said that they take the baby to the neighbours' mother, with a condition that they buy the said mother three stouts.

Alicia Nkutu agreed to this, fed her baby and took it to the neighbours' mother where she paid R100 for babysitting to buy these three stouts. Alicia says she left the child asleep and she went out with this neighbour. Nkutu says when they were coming back from groove on the early hours of the New Year's day, she saw vans nearby the neighbour's mother's house and instantly before she could walk to the crowd and find out, they received a call from the said mother, breaking up the news of Avelenkosi Nkutu's passing.
When Alicia Nkutu arrived to the house, her baby was covered with a green blanket on the floor and when she went on to take her, yelling out her name, it turned out she was still alive. Alicia discovered that her daughter who was wearing a vest that buttons between thighs, a vest, and pyjamas, that she was then named and with 15 stab wounds. Avelenkosi Nkutu was sent to the hospital where she's recovered now. Nkutu says the said mother claimed to not have known what happened to the baby as she discovered this horror after she went to the loo that morning. The said mother says she asked her six-year-old grandchild about what happened to the child and the said grandchild also didn't know what happened, said neighbour.

🔴 Sentenced to 30 years for the murder of her younger daughter and a concurrent 15-year sentence for the attempted murder of the older child 🔴

Nompumelelo Dlamini drowned her 6years old daughter in a bathtub after telling her to undress and kneel in the water. After killing the child she dressed her in a funeral dress n placed her on the bed to drown another

She attempted to drown another 8 year daughter who managed to fight back and scream for help. A neighborhood intervened assisting the 8 year daughter in escaping and alert the police.

🔴 TWO PEOPLE LEFT INJURED IN A HEAD ON COLLISION ON THE N1 YSTERBURG 🔴

A serious accident has occurred on the N1 southbound in Limpopo, between Ysterberg and the Caltex Garage.

Motorists are advised to expect major delays in the area.

Preliminary reports indicate that a vehicle lost control due to wet road conditions and collided head-on with another vehicle. A total of four vehicles were involved in the crash.

Two people sustained injuries, one is seriously injured, while another is in a critical condition. Emergency services, including an ambulance and an EMS helicopter, are currently on the scene, with preparations underway to airlift the injured.

The road has been temporarily closed to traffic, and officers from the Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety are on site managing traffic and conducting point duty.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution and consider alternative routes where possible.

A toddler was located at the rear of Evaton West earlier today. The child, estimated to be around months old, was found wrapped in a black refuse bag.

Local authorities responded promptly, securing the area and ensuring the child’s safety. The toddler has been placed under the care of the Evaton Police Department’s Child Protection Unit.

Anyone with information regarding the child’s identity or circumstances leading up to the discovery is asked to contact the Evaton Police Department

Traffic Officers conducting visible policing on the R26 on Friday, 12 December 2025, at around 16:20, stopped a Honda Fit travelling from Clocolan to Ficksburg with three passengers.

During the routine check, officers detected a strong smell of dagga coming from the vehicle, prompting a full search. A large bag of dagga was discovered inside. Passengers informed officers that the bag belonged to a man who had been given a lift from Clocolan.

The suspect was arrested on the scene and taken to Ficksburg SAPS for further processing.

SENZO MAKHAULA HAVE GONE MISSING AFTER RECEIVED HIS SCHOOL END YEAR RESULTS AND LEFT A SU***DE NOTE.

Source revealed that Senzo "Boyboy" Makhaula (17) have gone missing today just after they received their school reports of the year.

His friend Martin said: We went to school together in the morning ngabo 10h00 and we collected our report same time and unfortunately he found out that he failed his grade 11.

I took him to my home since we're just few meters away from each and he was crying asking himself what went wrong because he passed his term 1, Passed term 2 and term 3 but failed term 4.

He mentioned something of going to his mother later on ngabo 14h00, and i thought he's referring to mam rose, we stayed from 11 untill 14h00 and he said he's going home said Martin.

Senzo left a Note and a school report results on top of his mamkhulu's bed. And left the house.

HE was wearing All red Tracksuits (Adidas) and white sneakers (Ellesse) with a white hat.

His mamkhulu Zodwa Rose, Said: when I come back it was around 15h00 because I was sick and I had to come back home early, that mean I have missed him with minutes because,

My neighbor said "Uphambana nomfana wakho sis rose na? coz he just went out now holding black plastic, and I was like uzobuya loyo uthanda ukuzula zula, because he know me coming back at 17h00.

I didn't know and when I arrive I went straight to my sofa at dining room and took a small nap before going to my room because I wasn't feeling well."

The letter was seen by my daughter kagiso who also came back around 16h00 coming from her choir practicing and she's the one called me crying and show me the letter.

Immediately i drove with my neighbor babe khuzwayo and his wife to Ethushanang as the letter says, unfortunately we found nothing and no sign so we don't know what to do or to check. Said rose.

🔴 POLICE SERGEANT ( 40 ) FATALLY SHOOTS HIS 31 - YEAR OLD CONSTABLE GIRLFRIEND AND TURNS GUN ON HIMSELF IN TZANEEN 🔴

The community of Nkowankowa township has been left in disbelief following a shooting incident that left two police officers dead in a domestic violence related incident.

According to preliminary reports, a 40-year-old male Police Sergeant attached to Mopani District office went to the rental residence of the 31-year-old female Police Constable attached to Ritavi police station, in Nkowankowa shortly before midnight on Sunday, 07th December 2025.

An altercation ensued, after which the Constable contacted Ritavi SAPS for assistance.

Responding officers attended to the complaint and escorted her to the police station for her safety.

It is alleged that after initially leaving the scene, the Sergeant changed direction from Giyani and proceeded to Ritavi Police Station.

Upon arrival, he located the Constable at the Community Service Centre (CSC), where he fatally shot her before turning the firearm on himself. Both members were declared dead at the scene.

The police in Ritavi opened cases of murder and an inquest for further investigations.

The Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Hadebe expressed profound shock and disappointment, noting that this incident occurred when the country is observing the 16 Days of Activism for no Violence against Women and Children.

"This incident is a stark reminder of the destructive impact of domestic violence, even within our own ranks. We urgently appeal to all members experiencing relationship difficulties, emotional distress, or domestic conflict to seek professional help without delay,” said Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe.

The Police say a case has been transferred to the IPID for further investigation. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
