WOMAN STABS BOYFRIEND TO DEATH IN MIDRAND

This is Ntokoto Mabasa, a 22-year-old lady from Giyani who is currently based in Midrand, Joburg. She is arrested for allegedly murdering her boyfriend Xichavo Ntsanwisi on the photos. Xichavo was found dead today, monday 22nd of September at Colnbrook Estate in Noordwyk, Midrand. Police responded to a complaint made around 02:00 am. When they arrived on the scene the victim was found lying on the kitchen floor. A knife that was used to stab his upper chest near the neck was also on the scene. Ntokoto was immediately arrested and was taken to eat brown beans as her boyfriend didn't die a natural death.

Tragic murder at Boiketlong Railway Lines

Sebokeng – Shock and fear gripped the Boiketlong community on Tuesday morning, 16 September 2025, after a 28-year-old man was ambushed and shot at the Boiketlong Railway lines.

Police from Sebokeng SAPS rushed to the scene after being alerted, where Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were already battling to save the victim, who was bleeding from gunshot wounds to both legs.

“The motive behind this brutal attack is still unknown. The victim is sedated in hospital and we have not yet been able to obtain his statement,” confirmed Sebokeng police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane.

Police have since opened an attempted murder case and are appealing for public assistance.

“We urge anyone with information to come forward. Call Sebokeng SAPS on 016 466 2047, 082 498 9563, Crime Stop on 08600 10111, or dial 112. Information can also be shared anonymously on the MySAPS app,” Mokhachane added.

An inquest is underway after a teacher was discovered dead at Sizanani Secondary School in Zone 13 on Saturday.

A staff member noticed the body and called the police, who found the man with a shoelace tied around his neck and fastened to a classroom door. Emergency services declared him dead on the scene.

🔴 Kidnapping and extortion suspect arrested in Sebokeng 🔴

Members of the Provincial Organised Crime Unit, Parys Crime Intelligence, Gauteng Traffic Police High Priority Crime & Internal Affairs, Sedibeng Tracking Team, and Sasolburg Trio Task Team conducted a tracing operation targeting suspects involved in aggravated robbery, kidnapping, and extortion.

During the operation, one suspect was arrested at an address in Zone 6, Sebokeng. A Mercedes-Benz used in the kidnapping was also seized.

Tracing operations are ongoing to locate the remaining suspects.

NWU Students Killed In Road Accident

A tragic accident occured early monday morning between 03:00 and 04:00 claimed two lives on the Potchefstroom Road near Little Egypt.

Emergency responders say the deceased were wearing NWU clothing and were likely on their way to the NWU campus in Potchefstroom. No other vehicles were involved, and it appears the driver lost control on a bend and collided with a pole.

The identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed.
