You are enough, you do not need to be someone else.

You can improve who you are but make sure your fundamentals are your original person.

! (Charova sei chando)!

Many people get surprised when i tell them my age. Truth is it didn’t just happen, I’ve always prayed to have a youthful body and to remain young at heart. Ofcourse I’m disciplined in areas of prayer, facial care routine, workout and largely eating healthy.

What’s that one goal you set at the beginning of the year that you’ve actually stuck with?

For me, while the weight hasn’t moved much, my body has gotten stronger and more toned — and I’m loving it! The kind comments from people noticing have really kept me going.

As I worked out this morning, I thought about how it’s not the strongest or the smartest who win, it’s those who do not quit. Whether it’s building a dream, losing weight, or starting something new, the key is to keep showing up.

Some days I have to trick my mind just to do 20 minutes, but once I start, I often push through. Movement is the win.

What’s been your most consistent win this year? I’d love to hear it — and if you’ve paused, maybe this is your sign to start again. 💐🌺🌹

As a 20-something-year-old back then, one of the hustles that kept me going was cross-border grocery trading. I’d travel from Bulawayo to Francistown every Friday after work and be back Saturday — selling and restocking. That hustle put food on my table and paid for my tuition in Marketing Studies.

💪🏾 It taught me discipline, survival, and the power of working with dignity.

To my Gen Z crew in your 20s, what’s that honest hustle you’re doing today?

To my 90s babies — what’s keeping you going?

And my 80s and 70s generation — what hustle are you building or sustaining right now?

Let’s encourage each other — share yours below. Someone might just be inspired to start again.👇🏾

With regards to my continued learning, thank you Mai VaGil Joseph NaRuth for asking me what I usually do to keep myself educated, up to date with trends, and competitive in my fields. Here are some of the things I’ve been doing over the years, months, weeks, and even daily:

1. I intentionally pursue knowledge and authority in areas I’m passionate about. For example, pursuing my Master of Science Degree came from the desire to upscale myself and become an authority in that space. The same goes for my Law Degree, I simply knew I needed it to grow and contribute meaningfully.

2. I consume daily podcasts in leadership development, pursuing one’s vision, and so many other topics. I listen to both Christian and circular podcasts, including those by millionaires sharing their journeys and experiences. I also enjoy listening to human rights podcasts.

3. My church runs a daily Bible reading programme, and when I’m working out—usually five times a week, minimum four—I listen to the audio Bible, a podcast, or join our church’s 6.30am to 7.30am prayer sessions online.

I’ve really become a podcast ju**ie. Even while driving, I’m usually listening to either a podcast or the Bible.

4. I’ve recently started listening to audiobooks, often while working out or in between meetings when I’m driving.

5. I also follow constructive and inspiring people on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. These include celebrities who work out, filmmakers, business leaders, politicians, and preachers.

6. I keep friendships with progressive people and those who inspire me. I’m also learning to stop being stingy with investing in networking, so I now attend paid events where I can afford to.

7. I’ve recently begun paying for tools that support deeper learning. For instance, I subscribe to platforms like ChatGPT which I use for research and staying informed.

8. I’m quite switched on when it comes to trends in technology and what’s happening in different sectors, including social spaces.

9. Book reading is still a bit of a challenge for me, something I need to improve. I do buy books, but I often don’t go beyond 40 percent in reading them.

10. I also watch movies, and as a filmmaker myself, I now do so with a producer’s eye. I pay attention to filming techniques, equipment used, and storytelling. I’m not just enjoying the film, I’m learning too.

11. I stay rooted in spiritual community and family, and I distance myself as quickly as possible from unnecessary drama. I protect my peace and stay focused on what builds me.

The truth is, many of these things can be done without paying money if one chooses to focus on edifying content. If we can spend time on Facebook, surely we can make time to be on YouTube learning something new.

I hope this encourages someone to start building their own personal development plan.

In pursuing our goals, some days/weeks are better than the others. The most important thing is to keep pushing!

I advocate for natural beauty, even though I have nothing against those who seek artificial beauty to better their looks.

May we all ultimately see, the inner beauty.

Call to end period poverty.

POLITICIAN Linda Masarira has called on the government to end period poverty and recognise menstrual sick leave as a human right.

Masarira made the call as Zimbabwe joined the rest of the world yesterday to mark the Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025 which is observed annually on May 28.

The commemorations are meant to push for global action to end stigma and ensure access to safe, affordable menstrual care for women and girls who menstruate.

Masarira, however, said it was distressing that most public schools reportedly never received a single packet of sanitary wear despite government allocating a budget.

The allocated funds include ZWL$200 million in 2020, ZWL$500 million in 2021 and ZWL$1,5 billion in 2022.

“Yet, most public schools report they have never received a single packet of sanitary wear from government,” Masarira said in a statement.

“This is a scandal. We demand an immediate audit of these funds, where did the money go? Which schools, if any, received sanitary wear?

“We demand transparency and accountability on this matter, for the dignity of our girls and women.”

Masarira said menstruation should never be a barrier to education, health or opportunity.

“Menstrual dignity is not just a right; it is a sacred affirmation that every woman’s body is powerful, every girl’s future is valid and no one should bleed in shame or silence,” she said.

“It’s time our workplaces and the nation recognised the need for menstrual sick leave as a human right for those who suffer from severe pain.”

Masarira urged government to take immediate action to address period poverty and provide support for menstruating women and girls.

“If the State can provide free condoms for leisure, what is stopping it from providing free sanitary wear for nature,” she added.

The Menstrual Hygiene Day campaign aims to raise awareness and push for policy changes to support menstrual health and dignity.

The theme for this year’s campaign is Together for a .
