Featuring a moving collaboration with Langa Mavuso on the title track, the project delves into the raw, unfiltered realities of love, its beauty, pain, and spiritual depth.

At its core, the EP reflects the truth that love often defies logic and control. Through themes of heartbreak, healing, and divine connection, Mbambeni traces a journey from struggle to redemption, grounded in faith and emotional honesty.

From November 20 to 22, 2025, Constitution Hill in Johannesburg will host the We the 99 People’s Summit for Global Economic Justice, a global gathering dedicated to advancing fairness, equality, and systemic change.

Through three days of movement-building, dialogue, and music, the summit will highlight issues such as debt justice, equitable climate finance, fair taxation, and economic democracy, topics often overlooked by global leaders. The programme combines policy discussions with artistic expression, using South Africa’s cultural richness to foster solidarity and global connection.

The festival’s powerful artistic line-up includes iPhupho L’ka Biko, Buhlebendalo, Lebo Mashile, Maglera Doe Boy, DBN Gogo, DJ Kenzhero, and The Brother Moves On, promising a vibrant fusion of activism and performance.

The We the 99 People’s Summit stands as both a celebration and a call to action, uniting communities to reimagine a fairer global economy for people and planet alike.

Olivier Rousteing is stepping down as creative director after an astonishing 14 years at the helm of the storied French maison. At just 40 years old, the designer who injected Balmain with youthful energy and global appeal leaves behind a legacy that's as vibrant and multifaceted as the collections he helmed.

Rousteing's journey with Balmain began in 2009, when he joined as an assistant to then-creative director Christophe Decarnin. In April 2011, at the age of 25, he got the top role, a move that made him one of the youngest creative directors in luxury fashion history.

Balmain transformed from a house rooted in post-war Parisian tailoring into a global powerhouse synonymous with intricate embroidery and a seductive blend of streetwear swagger and couture precision.

The show delves deep into the journeys of artists and industry tastemakers, unpacking their careers, milestones, and signature sounds, track by track and beat by beat.

In collaboration with Zkhiphani, a leading platform for music, fashion, art, and youth culture, the podcast aims to celebrate and document the evolution of dance music from a distinctly South African perspective.

Born out of a 2022 collaborative writing camp at Sound Foundry Studios, Modern Horror is a South African collective of writers, producers, and vocalists redefining the boundaries of dance music. Blending club-ready energy with emotional storytelling, the group’s creative sessions saw members moving fluidly between studios and laptops, crafting a signature sound that’s both vibrant and introspective.

Their self-titled debut album, MODERN HORROR, features eight tracks and showcases contributions from Mpho.wav, Kenza, Hollow Scene, Bakai, Jabulile Majola, Valley Sixteen, Orah, Bravcat, and LUFS. The result is a genre-blurring project designed for both late-night reflection and long drives.

Across the album, MODERN HORROR explores a spectrum of South African house influences, from deep and percussive to melodic and vocal-driven, weaving human stories through rhythm-forward production.
