Ralph Lauren has launched a new limited-edition collection, Polo Ralph Lauren for Oak Bluffs, celebrating the rich heritage of Oak Bluffs, a historic coastal community on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. This exclusive release highlights the town’s longstanding significance as a summer destination for Black families, alumni networks, and community stewards who have helped preserve its charm for over a century.

The campaign and collection spotlight Oak Bluffs’ deep cultural roots while extending Ralph Lauren’s ongoing collaboration with Morehouse College and Spelman College, two renowned historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Building on previous partnerships, this release infuses timeless collegiate style with maritime influences, drawing inspiration from the area's traditions and scenic landscapes.

The Morehouse and Spelman pieces in the collection seamlessly blend campus culture with coastal style. Items like sun-faded knits, sailing jackets, and heirloom-inspired sweaters evoke a sense of nostalgia while honoring the sartorial traditions of both institutions. Notable highlights include a maroon-and-white varsity jacket emblazoned with Morehouse's Maroon Tiger and a patchwork cardigan in ivory and light blue featuring Spelman's Jaguar mascot alongside symbols of the college’s historic campus.

Designed to move effortlessly from university halls to seaside retreats, the collection reflects Ralph Lauren's signature approach to classic American fashion,now reimagined through the lens of Black excellence and community heritage.

Nigerian Afropop sensation Adekunle Gold has released his latest track, Coco Money, a vibrant anthem that celebrates triumph, liberation, and perseverance. Known for pushing creative boundaries, the artist brings a fresh sonic experience that bridges cultural heritage with contemporary sound.

A standout feature of Coco Money is its incorporation of the Elegbe call-and-response riff, a musical element rooted in traditional Fuji music. This marks the first time the distinctive Yoruba street motif has been integrated into a modern Afropop production. ASOS and adidas Originals have unveiled a new womenswear collection, strengthening their longstanding partnership with a fresh, fashion-forward offering. The collection was revealed during a runway show in London and launched exclusively online on Tuesday, 15 July 2025.

Designed by ASOS' in-house team, the range blends classic adidas elements with modern silhouettes and current trends. The collection showcases a mix of summer-ready pieces in a palette of rich burgundies, earthy neutrals, and pops of vibrant blue and green.

Among the standout items are reimagined adidas track sets, featuring crochet knit fabrics and bold graphic prints. These pieces are styled with sleek, low-profile adidas trainers to complete the look.

In response to unprecedented demand, acclaimed saxophonist and GRAMMY Award-winner Kenny G has added a fourth performance to his upcoming South African tour. The newly announced show is set to take place at the renowned Sun City Superbowl on Friday, 3 October 2025, offering fans an additional chance to experience the smooth jazz legend live on stage.

This announcement follows overwhelming support from South African audiences, with tickets for the Durban, Cape Town, and Pretoria shows selling rapidly. The Sun City performance adds to what is shaping up to be one of the year’s most anticipated musical events.
