OFF THE RECORD: LIA BUTLER

Neo-Zulu. Womanhood. Love. Faith. Becoming.

Today, Lia Butler joins us on with Kea Boya to take us inside SGORA, her forthcoming debut solo album and a deeply personal exploration of heartbreak, self-discovery and finding confidence in who she’s becoming.

We go beyond the singles and experience the project as it was meant to be heard, full-bodied and Off The Record.

Backseat Broadcast got a little teary-eyed. 🥹🎙️🚙

Our JHB kiddies had Uncle KG in his feelings when they asked: “What is the biggest risk you’ve ever taken, and how did it end?”

What started as a simple question turned into a deeply emotional moment, as KG reflected on his journey of self-love, growth, and the importance of recognising the tribe that helped him get to where he is today. ❤️

A reminder that sometimes, the biggest risks lead us right back to ourselves. 🥹🧡📻✨
