Merry Christmas, everyone! 🎄 May your holidays be filled with peace, love and music that warms the soul.

Thank you for letting me share my songs with you this year!!!!!🎼

A few years ago, Cape Town vocalist Mpume Mayekiso, originally from Nyanga, invited me to a studio session where they were recording a deeply moving track titled “Pha Kude.” The song tells the story of a woman who once played with a gentleman’s heart, carrying a tone of sorrow and reflection.

Listening to the raw emotion in the studio, I felt compelled to contribute. I asked producer TUXMan to send me the beat, and I wrote a verse that I believed would complement the song’s message. When I shared it with the team, the reaction was overwhelming; tears filled the room. They kindly asked me not to include the verse, explaining that it felt too raw and radical for the project.

Respecting their concerns, I decided to keep the verse to myself. Today, I am proud to finally share it with the world. This verse represents a moment of truth, vulnerability, and unfiltered emotion.

My hope is that you never find yourself in a place where you feel the need to say these words to someone you love.

The song remains a testament to the power of music to stir emotions, and this verse is my personal contribution to that legacy.

I Took This Course as a Stand Against GBV; Empowering Women Through Tech and Action.

By completing the Microsoft Elevate Women in Tech course and earning badges, I proudly aligned myself with the campaign against Gender-Based Violence, using technology as a tool for empowerment, leadership, and gender equality advocacy.

This achievement is not only a personal milestone but a public declaration of support for women everywhere in the fight against GBV.

I am also deeply grateful that organisations like Absa are powering Women in Tech initiatives across Africa, amplifying the reach of courses like Microsoft Elevate and ensuring that women have access to opportunities that foster both professional and social transformation.

Celebrating Kudala: A Soundtrack Milestone 🎸

The song Kudala has reached an important moment in its journey. It is now the official soundtrack of the new film Tata - Iqhinga Lokuzondla. This success shows the song’s cultural power and marks a big achievement as the film gains recognition on international stages.

To celebrate, audiences will enjoy a special acoustic version of Kudala. This performance combines heartfelt lyrics with the deep sound of a bass guitar 🎸. The simple arrangement brings out the song’s emotion and timeless beauty, giving listeners a close and personal experience.

The film is now back at the UK Film Festival, where it will be shown until the 30th of this month. This return highlights its growing influence and the global reach of both the film and its soundtrack.

Together, the film and Kudala show the strength of creativity, heritage, and storytelling through music and cinema.

DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR FIRST TIME ON STAGE?🧑‍🎤

The first time I stepped on stage was around 2003 or 2004, maybe even earlier. The only person who could confirm the date is a woman from the Mfamana family in Zone 4. She hosted the event where I first stepped onto a stage.

I wasn’t planning to perform that day. I was simply sent to the shop; Esilarheni.....On my way there, I saw a mini truck with a stage pulling into the area. Curious, I got closer and realized it was a KIWI promotional campaign. They were showcasing their KIWI Tekkie Bright product.

Without hesitation, I jumped on stage and joined the crowd. I danced my heart out, singing “Kiwi Tekkie Bright, Kiwi Tekkie Bright!” The energy was electric. The crowd went wild. I won the combo they were promoting, but more importantly, I discovered something deeper: the thrill of expression, the joy of performance, and the power of connection.

Since that day, I’ve never stopped searching for platforms to express myself fully. That moment sparked something in me, a hunger to tell my story, to be seen, to be heard.

I’m sharing this now to remind you: we all have a story worth telling. Mine is just beginning.
