Dear Music Fans,
We, at FuturePlannersRecords, would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the event organizers, Lindo Matanganyi Production, and everyone else who made the event possible and a success in our town. It was our dream to share the stage with other great artists and perform in front of our fans, which we hadn't done in a while. However, we were unable to fulfill that dream as we felt the event organizers could have done more to communicate with us on time and more clearly regarding times, slots, and names.
We received our slot a day before the event, and as we were getting ready for that time, we received another slot on the day of the event, which left us confused and questioning why we were being treated like this. We received another slot shortly after the previous call, informing us that we were scheduled to perform at 21:00 PM. However, the name written on the sheet wasn't one of our own names, which is Year 2000 khanya Y2K. We communicated that they fix the mistake they had made, and we were told it was another artist. We were told to come and perform at 16:30 before the "Officials" began their performance. Their communication was late, indirect, and somehow, we were taken unserious.
We would like to extend our sincere apologies to everyone who had bought tickets in anticipation of seeing our artist (Y2K). We would have loved to grace the stage with our electrifying performances and also entertain your ears with the new songs we have released, including those yet to be released.
