The police are seeking the public's assistance in locating 58-year-old Mateboho Regina Molumo, who went on Tuesday, 12 November 2025. She was last seen at Protea Glen Mall. Regina was reported missing by her mother on Tuesday, 12 November 2025, at SAPS Moroka.

Anyone with information regarding Mateboho's whereabouts may contact their nearest police station or contact Warrant Officer SF Sikhakhane contact: 083 957 1344. Alternatively, one can contact the Line on 08600 10111 or on the which can be downloaded on any smartphone.

The Serious Commercial Crime Investigation’s Intellectual Property Rights of the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI), based at National Head office, conducted a multidisciplinary operation on Thursday, 13 November 2025, in the quest to reduce illegal alcohol that has become the new trend all over the country.

The had secured search, and seizure warrants for three premises situated in Germiston, Boksburg and Edenvale.
The joint intelligence driven operation by the Serious Commercial Crime Investigation in concert with the brand owners, Tactical Operation Management Section of the DPCI, JHB Flying Squad and Border Police, was conducted simultaneously at the three premises and yielded the discovery of counterfeit alcohol with an estimated of value of R400 000.00.

The operation was launched after samples of the identified liquor products were purchased, prompting the applications for the search and seizure warrants. During the searches, various liquor products, and illicit ci******es bearing different well-known brands were found and seized. All seized items were taken to the designated depot for further investigations, whereby three case dockets are to be registered.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Haenertsburg, Mopani District, have arrested five male suspects aged between 25 and 35 for murder of 22-year-old male victim at a Rehabilitation centre situated at Spitskop village, Ga-Mamabolo.

According to the police report, on Monday, 03 November 2025, at about 10:00, five victims from the Rehabilitation Centre escaped from the centre. The security officer allegedly traced the victims and brought them back to the centre. On their arrival at the centre, they were allegedly assaulted with all sorts of objects, as a result they sustained serious injuries. Unfortunately, one of the victims succumbed to the injuries on the scene. The survivors were transported to the hospital for treatment.

On Wednesday, 12 November 2025, Haenertsburg detectives, Mopani High patrol and Mopani Tracking team conducted a successful operation that resulted in the apprehension of the five suspects for murder and assault GBH. Furthermore, the rehabilitation centre was found to be operating illegally.

All five suspects will appear before the Tzaneen Magistrate court on Friday, 14 November 2025, facing charges of Murder and assault GBH.

More arrests are imminent.

On Sunday, 26 October 2025, at about 01:00, members of Bothasig SAPS received a complaint from an e-hailing driver who was not paid by a 31-year-old male residing in Mill Street. They accompanied the driver to the address of the suspect and found him with a 22-year-old male and he was cooperative, promising to pay the complainant. In an interesting turn of events, members detected a strong smell of dagga and asked to search the place. Upon searching, they found an indoor dagga cultivation laboratory in one of the rooms. The members seized 205 dagga plants, 87 rolled blue cheese dagga ci******es, one silver scale, 64 rolled birthday cake dagga joints, one black book containing cultivation lessons and equipment.

The two males were arrested and charged for cultivation and dealing in drugs. They will make their first appearance in the Bellville Magistrate’s court today.

Meanwhile, Khayelitsha Crime Prevention Unit members discovered drugs in Capital Drive, Thembani, Khayelitsha on Monday, 27 October 2025. The members were conducting their crime prevention duties in the area when they were informed about a house selling liquor without a license. They instantly went and while at the premises, a community member alerted the police that drugs are being sold in the same premises, in a flat situated at the back. The police proceeded to search the flat and found 3700 tablets of mandrax with an estimated street value of R185 000.00.

Two males aged 42 and 50 were arrested. They will appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrate’s court on Wednesday, 29 October 2025.
