There's so much on social media that is so contradictory to Islam and that we pass off as being okay because it makes us comfortable in our erring.

We are called upon to be humble and modest in our practice of Deen.

We ask ourselves how anyone is supposed to come into our fold if we do not allow ourselves to be inclusive.

You can practice inclusivity without compromising your religious beliefs.

We are all sinners, yes.

That shouldn't however deter us from accepting guidance from anyone when it's the right advice... Even if it's a comment from a fake account.

Just over a year ago, I shared a rough sketch of a dream on this page — zero followers, no content, just vision. Fast forward 365+ days, and honestly? I’m still figuring it out as I go.

My TikTok posting has been wildly inconsistent — only 26 posts in a full year. No ads. No team. Just self-taught hustle and a whole lot of grit.

So boutta year ago, after self teaching myself about tools related to social media, I made a ballsy but bold decision to go ahead with a certain side hustle I envisioned. UNFORTUNATELY I still haven't made a cent and that s**t burns me every day🥲But on the bright side it's safe to say I have officially left my mark in the digital landscape/online scene. For more context, my tiktok account had 24 videos posted as of yesterday. Whatever content you see there was all strategically posted and without going too much in detail, those 24 posts combined received a total watch time of 170+ hours and 50k views. Now if you're a content creator then you'll understand the value of that as it plays an integral role towards being eligible for monetization as well as attracting brand deals.
