2027/28 Comprehensive Agricultural Support Programme (CASP)
and 2026/27 Bridge Fund (Blended Finance) Support

The Mpumalanga Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs (DARDLEA) hereby invites applications from qualifying farmers and agricultural enterprises requiring support through the Comprehensive Agricultural Support Programme (CASP) and the Mpumalanga Bridge Fund (Blended Finance).
The Department seeks to support agricultural enterprises operating within Livestock, Grains (Highveld), Horticulture (Lowveld), Aquaculture, Agro-processing Value Chains.
Application closes 11 September 2026.

NEWS!!

Police in Masoyi, outside White River have opened a case of culpable homicide and reckless and negligent driving following a hit-and-run incident in which three people were allegedly knocked down by a motorist who subsequently fled the scene.
It is alleged that the motorist knocked down three pedestrians before speeding away from the scene.
Emergency medical personnel attended to the victims and transported all three to a medical care facility for further treatment. Sadly, one of the victims was certified dead upon arrival.
Police appeal to anyone who may have information that could assist in the investigation or lead to the apprehension of the suspect to contact their nearest police station or call the Crime Stop number on 08600 10111.
