Clearing your car at a Zimbabwean border (Step-by-step travel guide)

🟤 Apply for a vehicle Temporary Import Permit (TIP) online https://ecustoms.zimra.co.zw/etip/ before you leave home since there is no free internet at the border
🟤Entrance gate: Get the parking coupon
🟤Police office (ZRP CID): Original car registration documents checked & parking coupon scanned (If the car is not in your name you need the owner's certified ID, affidavit giving you permission & car insurance)
🟤 Fill out the ZIMRA Customs Declaration Form
🟤ZIMRA counter: Scan your TIP, pay any customs duty due & get your parking coupon scanned
🟤Zimborders counter: Pay the access fee, get your parking coupon scanned & get a paid access coupon
🟤 Immigration counter: Stamp your passport & get your paid access coupon scanned
🟤ZINARA: Pay toll fees & get your paid access coupon scanned
🟤Info desk near exit: Scan your paid access coupon at the self-help tablet
🟤ZIMRA container outside: Hand ZIMRA the Customs Declaration Form for verification & get your paid access coupon scanned
🟤 Parking area: If your car registration number appears on the overhead display screen you can exist the border

PS: If you forgot to apply for a TIP & you have no internet access ask to do a manual TIP.
