Our Holiday children took part in a Body Tracing activity which provided a fun and engaging way for our children to learn about their bodies, understanding proportion and expressing themselves creatively through their art

Our Grade R children have had some Holiday fun learning about the water cycle...evaporation, condensation and precipitation. The science water bags fascinated the children as they sat in the sun and watched with eager interest , as some of the water evaporated and condensed...and then ran down their bags as rain!

It's School Holidays at Christopher Robin....so the children get to be creative , use their imagination to think up fun games , strengthen friendships and play, play , play....the work of children

It is so important for the children to engage in non adult directed play ....to simply use their imagination without rules and boudaries. This promotes creative thinking , hand- eye co ordination and problem solving [ with some negotiation skills required to share the apparatus] . It is also emotionally and visually very rewarding for our children.

When Dads come out to play , it really makes our day!! Thank you to all our wonderful Christopher Robin Dads for spending time with us, we enjoyed every minute of it

We have been celebrating our Father's, with special art activities, including paintings and drawings , to express the childrens love for their Dads [and Grandfather's] . The children have really enjoyed these opportunities and have worked so hard to produce the most beautiful , colourful work . We truely thank our Father's for the positive impact they have in their children's lives . We wish you all an EXTRA SPECIAL Father's Day , as you spend quality time with your family and children.
