Crispy Beef Empanadas 🥟✨
"Golden, flaky empanadas packed with bold flavors of seasoned beef, rice, and corn. Perfect for every occasion!"
🛒Ingredients :
1 lb ground beef 🥩
1 cup cooked rice 🍚
½ cup corn kernels 🌽
1 small onion (diced) 🧅
2 cloves garlic (minced) 🧄
1 teaspoon chili powder 🌶️
½ teaspoon cumin 🥄
Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
1 package of empanada dough rounds 🥟
1 egg (beaten, for egg wash) 🥚

Prepare the Filling:
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add onion and garlic; sauté until fragrant. Mix in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Stir in cooked rice and corn, cooking for 2-3 minutes until well combined. Let it cool.
Assemble the Empanadas:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Spoon a small amount of the beef mixture onto the center of each empanada dough round.
Fold in half, press edges together, and crimp with a fork for a tight seal.
Bake or Air Fry:
Brush each empanada with egg wash for a golden finish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes (oven) or air fry for 10-12 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
