BIOGRAPHY
Lebohang Floyd “D-RAZOR” Mofaledi born on the 23rd of December 1993 and Moses “FLAME” Tshabalala born on the 28 of July 1991, whom they recorded independently & they are Soweto music artists and producers. The two met at high school where by D-razor was in Grade 9 while Flame was in Grade 10. They both did not know that they could grow and face difficulties in hip hop music. During the h
igh school years they were signed by a record company called D3 Productions, by the name of MISSION BULLETS from 2006 till 2007 and dropped singles like “Yhaaa vele, Kutsa & Good life”. 2008 The group didn’t separate because they had big dreams, they started afresh with a new group name called (SOTRA) producing beats, and recording them self’s with rappers like TM, FRISTO, MALETE & DIBORI and many more with their studio microphone and Personal computer (PC). They also worked with a rapper/producer like FROZ, RICH, PHUMLANI & VICTOR for production and beats making. 2010 the group separated for a while where each of them was working on a mix-tape in which it was never a success for them then they came up with known single like “Namanje, Braking my heart, Eezi. The group made its first appearance on television on SOWETO TV back in 2009 on the 28 of December and came up 2nd on a demo challenge on JOZI FM talent show in February 2013, and the group was part of SOUND and SOUNDS talent show that took place in Maponya mall, the group got most air play on community radio stations like JOZI FM, THETHA FM in the vaal. The group is now working independently on their own registered record label (SOTRA MOVEMENT ENTERTAINMENT) the group generated most of its fan base by performing in local community halls, Pub’s and hip-hop shows like slagh huise, Jangalala, the group populated its own music by giving it for free and uploading it on line on social networks like facebook, Sound cloud, Kasi mp3 and Data File Host. They now working on a mix-tape called (Smash Damaged) that will be including mix of party lifestyle, celebration, street rap, inspirational music which is the reflection of their background and a different sound that is going to break in different markets in the industry .The mix-tape includes smash hits like Sing Along which features TM, Party time and their new single “Celebrate” in which the music video is to be shot by the first of September this year.
