One day, I came back home after running my errands, only to find that someone had opened my gate and allowed their pigs into my yard. Those pigs went through my garden and destroyed the hard work I had poured my heart into.
At first, I was angry. I wanted answers. I wanted those responsible to pay for what they had done. And honestly, I was hurt. But after I sat down, calmed my heart, and looked at the situation differently, I realised something powerful:
Those pigs destroyed my garden… but they did not destroy ME.
They did not destroy the gardener inside me. They did not take away my knowledge, my passion, my hands, or my ability to start again.
So I picked up my tools, wiped away the disappointment, and planted again. And today, I have a beautiful garden once more. 🌿
My lovelies, that is the message I want to share with you today:
Life may destroy something you built. It may take away your business. It may close a chapter you worked so hard for. It may uproot you from the place you called home. It may bring you grief, disappointment, or heartbreak.
But it does NOT destroy who you are.
They can destroy your business, but they cannot destroy the businesswoman or businessman inside you.
They can take away your tools, but they cannot take away the skills in your hands.
They can take away your kitchen, but they cannot take away the baker inside you.
They can take away your workplace, but they cannot take away the nurse, teacher, builder, creator, or dreamer inside you.
They can take away your home, but they cannot take away your strength to build another one.
You are still here. You are still you. ❤️
Sometimes we allow situations to convince us that everything is over. We tell ourselves, “My life is finished. There is nothing left for me.” And slowly, those thoughts begin to consume us.And slowly depression consumes us
But do not allow your circumstances to become the end of your story.
Pick up the pieces. Dust yourself off. Pray. Believe again. Start again.
Because what makes you who you are was never only in the things you owned. It was always inside you.A garden can be replanted. A business can be rebuilt. A home can be built again. A dream can rise again.
Whatever you are facing today, remember this:
It may have broken what was around you, but it has not broken you.
Keep going. Keep believing. This too shall pass.
Stay blessed and have a beautiful Wednesday, my lovelies 💜, Niyathandwa ndim 💜🥰
