I worked on so many inspiring projects in 2024 - here are the highlights from some of my favourites.

In various capacities (including editing, producing, cinematography and colour grading), I covered a wide range of subjects; from ocean conservation, to artists, to NPOs that teach children to read, to premium coffee roasting.

I'm looking forward to seeing what 2025 holds!

During the Lockdown of 2020, we headed out to a private nature reserve in the Karoo and filmed some beautiful field recordings with a number of different artists.
One of them was Mark Fransman. Here he is performing one of his own powerful songs nestled under an old tree, sensitively backed by Bronwen Clacherty (Vibraphone) and Hans Huyssen (Cello).

“One for the Children” is a deep heartfelt plea, a cry to take care of the most important people on the planet.

We've been shooting together since we were married 14 years ago, and I couldn't think of anyone better to bring a job to life.

It was such a privilege to film the Women’s Day show featuring the incredible Mmino from Khayelitsha, founded back in 2017. The band is made up of two talented brothers, Mohau and Zeb Moahloli, who crafts a unique sound blending African fusion with hints of reggae, afro-latin, and mbhaganga.

Wathint' abafazi, wathint' imbokodo. This powerful South African saying, "You strike a woman, you strike a rock," beautifully captures the strength and resilience that women embody. Today is a day to celebrate women from all walks of life.

I filmed this together with Cameron Stuart and Marius van Rensburg at the Artscape Theatre during the Covid lockdown.
It was put together by and for their online platforms.

Being able to customize stage lighting like that all at the push of a button was a really fun experience!

Happy National Women's Day to every woman who stands as a pillar of strength, love, and unwavering resilience.

We've always loved Kirsten Sims' work, so it was an absolute privilege to work on a little piece for her upcoming exhibition "Away" at the Alison Milne Co Gallery in Toronto.

We were quite time pressured, so this was all filmed within an hour, without actually knowing how it would come together exactly. We are very pleased with the outcome 👌
