Through personal experience, I've learned that our deepest fears often lead to profound self-discovery. Each of us possesses an inner strength, typically awakened by adversity. No challenge is insurmountable, regardless of its magnitude. Rather than squandering difficult times on blame, focus on personal growth and rectify past mistakes. Our priority should be self-improvement, as we cannot control others' mindsets. In 2025, my focus will be inward, striving for self-betterment without concern for external opinions.

Achieving success requires focus, as it is essential to concentrate all your energy on one task until it is complete before moving on to the next. Individuals who attempt to do a little bit of everything often accomplish nothing, leading to life's greatest failures. As you strive for success, you will likely encounter numerous distractions vying for your attention, but it is crucial to ignore them. Have you noticed that when you focus on a goal, many things suddenly demand your time, and that whenever you initiate something worthwhile, various obstacles emerge to hinder your progress? When you pursue two rabbits simultaneously, you'll lose both them.

The Internal Struggle: It's You vs You.

When faced with adversity, we often seek to blame external circumstances, yet our outcomes are ultimately determined by our internal state. The truth is, a person who has achieved inner peace cannot be disturbed by external events. Our reactions in all situations are a reflection of our internal state, while external circumstances and people serve merely as triggers, not causes. Jesus Christ's peaceful sleep in a storm-battered boat exemplifies this principle. His inner calm was not disrupted by the external turmoil, whereas his disciples were terrified and reacted negatively. Upon awakening, Jesus utilized his inner peace to calm the storm, but first, he asked his disciples why they were fearful, emphasizing that their internal state, not the storm, was the source of their turmoil. Though we normally take the easier route, which is blaming external factors to avoid self confrontations for our outcomes, but the reality is that our internal state is the determining factor. Remember, the next time you face challenges, it's you vs you.

For far too long, we have been constrained by our own mindsets, expecting desirable outcomes from negative thinking. Our lives will inevitably gravitate towards our dominant thoughts. The human mind functions similarly to a magnet, attracting conditions, circumstances, people, and outcomes that align with our dominant thoughts. With your mind, you can influence how others perceive you, only to later blame them for being exactly what you imagined. Our social circle largely reflects our mindsets. Rather than expressing your thoughts, I can accurately assess them by examining your surroundings. It is impossible to maintain friendships with unserious individuals if you are serious; if this has not yet materialized, it is only a matter of time. In 2025, be willing to adjust your mindset to attract the right conditions, circumstances, and people. Discard previous experiences that established negative thinking in your life.

Christianity is unfortunately plagued by hypocrisy. When someone strongly advocates for the message of holiness due to their conviction, they are celebrated for standing up for the truth. However, when someone else emphasizes the healing and prophetic message based on the same Bible, they are criticized and labeled as a sangomas or banenyoka. Meanwhile, those who preach prosperity are often said to be motivated by the love of money, despite the fact that all these individuals are referencing the same Bible that preaches holiness. The question remains: what is the truth, and do we have the luxury to selectively determine what the truth is from the Bible?
