Keller Williams Realty seën Kleinbrak-nasorgsentrum met goedheid

As deel van Keller Williams Realty se jaarlikse RED Day (Renew, Energize, Donate) kom meer as 200 000 van hul agente wêreldwyd gedurende die maand Mei byeen om ‘n positiewe impak in hul gemeenskappe te maak deur uit te reik en terug te gee.
Hierdie jaar het die span van Keller Williams Realty Eden besluit om hul fokus te plaas op die Mosselbaai Care Centre in Kleinbrakrivier. Hulle het die sentrum op Donderdag, 8 Mei besoek.
Die Mosselbaai Care Centre bied gratis nasorg aan kinders uit die gemeenskap en voorsien veilige toesig sowel as akademiese ondersteuning. Die enigste vereiste is dat die kinders hul studies ernstig opneem en die sentrum daagliks bywoon. Die sentrum is trots op talle suksesverhale wat deur harde werk en toewyding verwesenlik is.
Remondè Grobbelaar, spanleier van Keller Williams Eden, sê dit was vir hulle ’n groot voorreg om betrokke te kon raak.
“Ons het die sentrum skoongemaak, geverf en opknappingswerk gedoen. Ons kon ook elke kind seën met ’n skryfbehoefte-pakkie om hul leerproses verder te ondersteun.
“Hoewel ons doel was om ’n verskil te maak, het ons baie meer teruggekry as wat ons gegee het. Ons stap weg met dankbare harte en ’n dieper waardering vir die gemeenskap waarin ons woon en werk.”
“Ons is trots daarop dat ons ’n positiewe bydrae kon lewer en sien uit na vele toekomstige geleenthede om terug te gee,” voeg Grobbelaar by.
Die Mosselbaai Care Centre, geleë by 37 Beyersstraat, Kleinbrakrivier, ondersteun daagliks verskeie gesinne en meer as 30 kinders in nasorg. Hulle voorsien ook daagliks kos aan 160 minderbevoorregte leerders van Ridgeview Primary School — vir baie van hierdie kinders is dit hul enigste maaltyd van die dag.
Die sentrum voorsien verder skoolklere en skoene aan kinders wat dit benodig en neem hulle deur die jaar op uitstappies. Tydens hul Kerspartytjies bederf hulle tot 230 kinders met geskenke, kos en feestelike aktiwiteite.
