Parys WADER has paused all rehabilitation work while our permit application is under review, which means we cannot accept any new patients for now. We know how important it is to help injured or displaced birds, and we remain focused on doing what is best for them.

We are arranging safe transfers for the birds currently in our care to approved facilities. Updates will follow as soon as arrangements are complete.

If you find a bird that needs urgent assistance, please contact:
Renee Jordaan in Koepel on 083 923 2299, or
Judy at the South African Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre in Springs on 073 112 1131.

Although our rehabilitation activities are on hold, our nature conservation community education will continue. We will keep sharing guidance, hosting sessions, and supporting the community until we can reopen as a fully permitted facility.
