# IT GOVERNANCE

This is the structure by which an organisation ensures that IT is aligned with the business and delivers value, its performance is measured, its resources properly allocated and its risks mitigated. Thus, there are 5 domains of IT governance;
1. Value delivery.
1. Strategic alignment.
1. Performance management.
1. Resource management.
1. Risk management.

IT governance frameworks define the ways and methods through which an organization can implement, manage and monitor IT governance within an organization.Common examples of IT governance frameworks include COBIT and ITIL.

COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology) helps organisations meet business challenges in regulatory compliance, risk management and aligning IT strategy with organisational goals. The COBIT 5 domains are; EDM (Evaluating, Direction, and Monitoring), APO (Align, Plan, Organise), BAI (Build, Acquire, and Implement), DSS (Deliver, Service and Support) , and MEA(Monitor, Evaluate and Assess).

ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) standardizes the selection, planning, delivery, maintenance and overall lifecycle of IT services within a business. ITIL provides guidelines and best practices for implementing the five phases of the IT service lifecycle: strategy, design, transition, operations, and continual improvement.

He's one of the hottest upcoming artists in the city, he makes great music that needs to be heard especially by hip hop lovers.
