First month of the year is gone. We are not where we wanted to be, but we are definitely making progress towards repositioning ourselves as an Accounting Firm. Many businesses only started to feel the impact of 2020 lockdown last year. We felt that it is important as a brand to do self-introspection, see what has been working for us and what has not worked for us in this 8 year of our entrepreneurial journey. Many entrepreneurs (including myself) get over-excited and get carried away and find themselves obsessed with growth. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, but the problem starts when the entrepreneur’s losses focus and forget about the whole reason why they started the business. They start focusing on things that adds no value to their brands and adds no value to their clients
2022 will all be about going back to our traditional ways of doing things, how we used to engage with our clients and most importantly focus on solutions that we can sell to our clients. It was easy for us to pe*****te the market when we started back in 2014 as our main focus was on speedy and quality service, which has been quite lacking lately as the focus has been on things that don’t add value to our brand and to our clients.

Does it add value to our clients?
If the answer is NO, then we don’t need it.
