CARTRACK EMPLOYEE DIES AT ROSEBANK OFFICE AMID QUESTIONS OVER WORKPLACE CONDITIONS.

09 June 2026.

JOHANNESBURG-The death of a 29-year-old Cartrack employee at the company's Rosebank offices has sparked widespread concern and calls for answers.

Gcina Dhladhla, a call centre agent, reportedly suffered a medical emergency at work on Saturday 06 June 2026, after informing her manager that she was feeling unwell. She later collapsed in a bathroom cubicle, where colleagues and emergency responders attempted to assist her, but she could not be revived.

Family members allege that Dhladhla had repeatedly complained of extreme fatigue and ill health and had submitted sick notes prior to her death. They claim she was pressured to continue reporting for duty despite her condition. Cartrack has denied these allegations, insisting that she was never prevented from taking sick leave and that emergency medical services were called immediately after the incident.

Gauteng police have opened an inquest docket, and investigations into the circumstances surrounding her death are underway. Cartrack says it is cooperating fully with authorities and providing support to the employee's family and colleagues.

❓️ If you were Cartrack's management, what would you do to reassure employees that their health and wellbeing come first?

MALEMA AMONG 17 FIGURES LINKED TO MADLANGA COMMISSION INQUIRY.

09 June 2026.

PRETORIA-EFF leader Julius Malema is among 17 high-profile individuals expected to be summoned by the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, as it investigates allegations of state corruption and political interference linked to suspended SAPS Crime Intelligence Deputy Head Major General Feroz Khan.

This follows the public release of the commission’s highly anticipated "Annexure C", a list of prominent figures linked directly to the ongoing investigation into suspended SAPS Crime Intelligence Deputy Head Major General Feroz Khan.

Major General Khan is scheduled to provide crucial oral testimony before the inquiry starting on 01 July 2026, after abandoning a series of urgent high court bids aimed at blocking investigators from accessing his encrypted electronic devices.

According to evidence formally presented to the commission by investigators extracted communication logs have implicated Malema, to***co tycoon Adriano Mazzotti, Carnilinx co-founder Mohamed Sayed and Mathipandile Sotheni among others in an alleged web of institutional interference and political protection.

Central to the upcoming line of questioning are deep-seated allegations pointing to June 2021. Investigative reports suggest that Major General Khan, Malema and Member of Parliament Mohammad Sayed allegedly coordinated efforts to orchestrate the removal of the former Inspector-General of Intelligence), Dr. Setlhomamaru Dintwe.

Evidence tabled before the inquiry includes WhatsApp exchanges indicating that internal SAPS intelligence and strategically drafted parliamentary questions were funneled through intermediaries to the EFF leadership to be "fired off" in the National Assembly in a bid to politically neutralize the former oversight head.

Further allegations contained in the data extraction reports suggest attempts by political actors to influence police procurement processes and fleet management bids.

The EFF leader has previously dismissed the commission findings and investigations involving his name characterizing the ongoing scrutiny as "just excitement" devoid of legal substance.

The Madlanga Commission whose mandate has been extended to August 2026 has directed Major General Khan to submit comprehensive sworn statements addressing his relationships with the individuals flagged in Annexure C. Malema and other named parties are expected to face rigorous cross-examination once the initial phase of law enforcement testimonies concludes in July.

The commission alleges that communication records extracted from Khan's electronic devices link several politicians, business figures and law enforcement officials to efforts aimed at influencing intelligence operations and oversight structures. Khan is expected to begin testifying on 01 July 2026.

❓️ If called to testify, what explanation do you think Julius Malema should provide regarding the allegations raised before the commission?
