From time to time I find myself sitting on sets of amazing photographs absolutely unwilling to post them out. I feel that certain pictures deserve more than a social media post, they need to be honored through print or photographic exhibition.

There is just too much energy & feeling in the work and social media likes don't quantify and reciprocate the value of the moment for me. Does anybody else feel this way?

Today, it has taken me the better part of 4 hours to post these pictures, not edit them, just to post. I have been fighting with myself regarding the media release as I won't resign myself to become another content creator that just pushes out media for the sake of it, effectively becoming part of the problem of fueling over consumerism in a modern day world.

When I post media, I want to pull people in, draw them into the moment, hold them, I want to evoke feelings within the viewer.

Africa you are wild, breathtakingly gorgeous and worth every accolade attributed to your bountiful lands. Thank you for your blessings.

September 7th 2025 🌝 Blood moon eclipse 🌚

Truly a spectacle to observe and a challenging moment to capture.
This Blood Moon decided to play hide and seek with us for quite some time.
However she showed face in a few short opportunities to capture her beauty.

A writing, an ode to our mother:

Where ever she'll be, she'll call me
I learned there is beauty you can't keep
All of the things that she taught me

Couldn't stop smiling the whole way home
To all of my friends, you'll find your way
One summer night, I hope to see you again
Looking up lately, the moon doesn't chase me no more
It was childlike, lost in her soft light and so on
As she read out all that she had written

How can I tell her that we'll shine
So reluctant to expose it to me
She steps with intention to run free
So stunner, don't ever move softly
You've been on a journey they can't see
When dancing in the sky you will lead
It feels like something you are missing
