Keep Guessing Charlie – the full band ensemble led by singer songwriter Charlie Harris, releases "Loved and Lost," a reflective indie-folk track that explores the emotional cycles of loving, losing and finding the strength to begin again.

Rather than telling one specific story, Loved and Lost captures a feeling that many people recognise. It's about the moments when relationships end, hope fades, and somehow we find ourselves opening our hearts once more.

"The song began with a guitar riff and a feeling I just couldn't shake," says Charlie. "As the arrangement came together and the lyrics started to take shape, the band immediately connected with it, with each member adding their own unique energy and personality to the track. While writing, the hook, 'And I loved and I lost over and over again,' came to me almost instantly. It really shaped the song and reflects something so many of us have experienced at one time or another."


Recorded with the full band, Loved and Lost carries the warm, organic sound that has become synonymous with Charlie Harris' music. Each member contributes to the song's emotional weight, creating a performance that feels both intimate and expansive.


Following recent releases including I Don't Want It and Laika, Charlie continues to write songs that favour honesty over spectacle. His storytelling is rooted in everyday emotions, allowing listeners to find pieces of their own experiences within the music.


With its memorable hook, understated production and heartfelt performance, Loved and Lost is another reminder that some of the most meaningful songs come from the simplest truths—that loving, losing and trying again is part of what makes us human.

The music video, shot in and around the arty suburbs of Linden Johannesburg, will be released soon. Thanks to Apple Music South Africa for adding the song to their New Music Daily Playlist.

South Africa’s Biggest Comedy Fundraiser “You Must Be Kidding Me??” Returns to The Teatro at Montecasino in 2026.

Johannesburg, South Africa - Get ready for two unforgettable nights of laughter, entertainment and impact as RADA proudly presents the return of its “You Must Be Kidding Me??” comedy
fundraiser taking place at the iconic Teatro at Montecasino on Friday, 9 October and Saturday, 10 October 2026.

Following the overwhelming success and sold-out performances in 2025, this year’s production promises an even bigger and more vibrant comedy experience, featuring some of South Africa’s
most celebrated comedians under one roof.

Audiences can look forward to a powerhouse lineup including Alan Committie, Bongani Dube, Celeste Ntuli, Dave Levinsohn, David Kau, Kurt Schoonraad, Mark Banks and Ndumiso Lindi all
bringing their signature humour and energy to the stage for a spectacular evening of world-class comedy.
Beyond the laughs lies a meaningful objective.

Proceeds from “You Must Be Kidding Me??” will support the RADA MiPad Project, an initiative dedicated to providing sustainable reusable sanitary wear to young girls who cannot afford
essential monthly hygiene products. Through the MiPad initiative, RADA aims to empower young girls, restore dignity, improve confidence and help ensure that no girl misses school because of
her menstrual cycle.

“This event is so much more than comedy, it’s about creating real positive change while bringing people together through laughter. Our aim is to raise funds to provide schoolgirls with sanitary wear which enables them to attend school, graduate with confidence and the prospect of a bright productive future,” says RADA CEO, John-Paul Nobrega.

Tickets are available to the public from 1 July through Webtickets - R250 per person, with limited seats available. Comedy fans and supporters are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.
