RETURNING TO YOUR FIRST LOVE: 5 Signs You're Still Walking in It

First love isn’t just a feeling. It’s a fire one that consumes your heart for God and aligns your entire life with Him. Here are five powerful signs that you're still walking in that passionate, first-love relationship with Jesus:

1. You crave His presence daily – He’s your priority, not your backup plan. (Psalm 42:1)

2. You obey Him out of love, not duty – You delight in doing His will. (John 14:15)

3. You’re quick to repent – You guard your intimacy with Him like treasure. (Revelation 2:4-5)

4. You speak of Him boldly – You can’t hide your love for Jesus. (Romans 1:16)

5. You love others easily – Love flows naturally from a heart that's filled with Him. (John 13:35)

May we never lose that fire. If you’ve drifted, today is a perfect day to return.

Passing the Baton of Faith ( One Step at a Time )

The Christian journey is not a solo sprint — it’s a relay. Each of us is entrusted with the baton of faith, hope, and love. We run our part with perseverance, and then we pass it on to our children, our friends, our community, and those yet to believe.

There are moments we’ll feel tired, overlooked, or like we’re falling behind. But take heart you are not alone. God is running beside you, cheering you on, strengthening your legs, and guiding your steps.

As you carry your baton, remember: your race matters. Your testimony speaks. Your faith can ignite someone else’s.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders... and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” Hebrews 12:1 (NIV)

Run your race. Pass the faith. Keep going ; one step at a time

SPIRITUAL SONS, WE LEARN FROM OUR FATHERS

There is a reason God places a spiritual father in your life — not just to preach to you, but to shape you.

He carries grace, wisdom, and experience you’ll one day need. Don’t just admire him from a distance learn from him.

We Watch what a father is doing

Before you do, learn to observe. Watch how he walks with God, how he prays, how he leads, how he handles pressure. Your eyes are your first classroom.

We stick by his side

Draw closer. Serve. Ask questions. Be available. Don’t just desire the anointing — understand the process. Growth happens in relationship, not in distance.

After a walk with him be prepared to stand as a LEADER

A true father doesn’t raise followers, he raises leaders. One day you’ll be trusted to walk, speak, and lead without him — but what you carry will reveal who you sat under.

🔥 Don’t rush the spotlight serve in the shadows.
🔥 Don’t just desire the mic carry the mantle.
🔥 Don’t just copy the style catch the spirit.

What you sit under, you eventually stand upon.

Let's Honor our fathers. Learn from them. Serve faithfully. our next level is hidden in our obedience today. 👑

In every situation, God remains deeply concerned about your welfare. He is cognizant of your secret tears, your unspoken battles, and the weight you bear. You are not overlooked, and you are not isolated. His love is distinctly personal, and His care is perpetually constant.

🛐 PRAYER BUILDS OUR SPIRITUAL MUSCLES 💪

“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” – Jude 1:20 (NKJV)

Just like going to the gym strengthens your body, prayer strengthens your spirit. It tones your faith, fortifies your inner man, and gives you power to stand tall through life’s challenges.

Here’s what consistent prayer does:

🔹 1. Deepens Intimacy with God

Prayer isn’t just asking—it’s connecting.
📖 Jeremiah 29:13, Psalm 27:8
When you seek His face, you find His heart.

🔹 2. Builds Spiritual Endurance

Prayer fuels your faith to keep going when life gets tough.
📖 Luke 18:1, Isaiah 40:31

🔹 3. Develops Authority

Through prayer, you walk in boldness backed by Heaven.
📖 Luke 10:19, James 5:16

🔹 4. Sharpens Discernment

Prayer tunes your ears to hear God's voice clearly.
📖 Jeremiah 33:3, John 10:27

🔹 5. Activates the Word

Prayer ignites the power in God’s Word and makes it work in your life.
📖 Ephesians 6:17–18, Jeremiah 23:29

🔥 A prayerless life is a powerless life, but a praying believer is unstoppable.

💬 Let prayer be your daily strength-training. How has prayer changed your life?

There’s safety in spiritual covering.

Just like a roof shelters a home, a spiritual covering shields your purpose.

This isn’t about control — it’s about divine protection, steady growth, and open doors.

Even Jesus walked in obedience to the Father. Elisha followed Elijah and received more. Timothy flourished under Paul’s guidance.

You don’t lose your strength under covering — you gain direction, wisdom, and grace.

Don’t walk this journey alone.

Stay planted.
Stay accountable.
Stay covered.

That’s where the blessing flows.
