Quick catch up on the lawn; other than a ton of leaves, the lawns doing alright this Autumn! Still only getting to a mow about once a week. Would prefer more often, but time is limited these days. Thanks Primo Maxx! Currently suffering another mole cricket flare up that Meridian doesn’t seem to be helping with but at least I still have earthworms. Still running 10mm height of cut. Still haven’t turned the irrigation back on. That’s all! Cheers 🍻

Removed the brick border around the lawn near my stoop. Much happier! Just need to work on those beds now! Lawns looking good minus the turds and wee spots. Happy overall

My Kikuyu still singing at 10mm height of cut! I’ve not been the most attentive lawn-keeper over the last 6 weeks, but I’m still happy overall. I have missed my pre-emergent app, but will get to that soon. And, I have seen some nutsedge pop up with the abnormal rain over this last season. Nothing too crazy though. I put down some fert today, which should give the lawn a little zest for life before I start with pre and post emergent control. Hopefully that will keep it green while the chemicals do their thing! Until next time…

10mm looking good on the kikuyu! Mowing like a dream now. Still a few lumps and bumps but a few touch ups should sort that out

This is about the happiest I’ve been with my lawn in a long time! Kikuyu rocking 10mm height of cut like an absolute beast!

The kikuyu is successfully, and comfortably at 10mm height of cut! Frankenstein is rolling smooth, and cutting those leafy tips with precision once again. Couldn’t be happier!
The top dressed areas, and the washed-out part near my walkway are recovering nicely too.
I’ll hit it with a foliar feed sometime this week to get the colour where I want it. Happy mowing everyone!
