I finished my studies at UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦, but then came the struggle of finding a job...

One day, I saw a job advert in the newspaper for a position at the Johannesburg Zoo.

During the interview, the manager told me their main attraction – a gorilla 🦍 – had died, and they were looking for someone to wear the costume and pretend to be the gorilla... 😭👀

I was embarrassed 💔 – I mean, I’m a graduate – but the salary was decent hey, so I took the job...

On my first day, I wore the gorilla suit, jumped into the enclosure, and started beating my chest and jumping around like a proper gorilla 🦍.

The next day, I suited up again and got into the groove, walking around the cage, entertaining the visitors.

But then I made a huge mistake... I accidentally entered the wrong enclosure 🙈...

Next thing, I look up and boom – a lion 🦁 is staring right at me, approaching slowly...

I panicked and completely forgot I was supposed to be a gorilla – I just started yelling,
“Hau! Help! Help! Please!” 🗣️

The lion got closer, pounced on me, I fell to the ground, and then I heard a voice whisper in my ear:
🗣️**"Ey Chris, it’s me – Thabo, your varsity mate from UNISA...**
Times are tough, my guy. There’s no work in this country.” 🙄

Then he adds,
“And you see that crocodile chilling in the water over there? That’s Zanele – your old crush from res…”
