We Will Transport Them, SANTACO:

It is alleged that SANTACO ,the majority of taxi associations ,is threatening to prevent buses that are transporting cross border passengers due to low passengers. It is reported that since neighbouring countries are repatriating its citizens back to home countries, cross border taxis are badly affected. There are no longer passengers because they are taking advantage of free rides back to their home countries. SANTACO wants to transport repatriated foreign nationals back to their own countries.

Not all officers are corrupt

An undocumented foreign national was arrested by the National Traffic Police at the N1 Baobab Toll Plaza near Musina after allegedly crossing the border without the required legal documentation. During the arrest, the suspect reportedly attempted to bribe the officers on duty

The message is clear: Do not break the law and expect money to get you out of trouble

Acting Director Aphane commended the officers for upholding their oath of office, maintaining their integrity, and honouring the badge they wear. Their actions demonstrate that professionalism, honesty, and accountability remain at the heart of law enforcement
