Meet Mashaba Basetsana from Atteridgeville who was born and bred at Atteridgeville. Basetsana is the founder and chairperson of Young Change Makers Organisation which was established on 3rd of December 2017. Young Change Makers Organization is situated at Atteridgeville.

"It was never been easy as a founder but i am thankful that i overcame all the obstacles. The first challenge was when members pulled out. I was strong enough and said "if people go is still okay i will move on it's part of life". Second challenge was hosting events. We don't have venue and there was no one to help with a venue. Third challenge was we did not have enough sponsors to sponsor our events. And it was not easy to host events in the pandemic of Covid-19. All challenges we had we got their solution" said Basetsana.

Basetsana wished to work with both genders and that's so unfortunate that she could not get males but YCMO is motion.

A leadership journey is not easy it really need commitment and dedication. We appreciate you like Mashaba Basetsana in our society and we wish them all the best on their journey.
