Office, Purchasing and SHEQ Administrator

Job Spec:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office, Purchasing and SHEQ Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key supportive role in managing office operations and the consumable purchasing process to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day office administrative duties, including managing phone calls, emails, and office supplies.
Coordinate office schedules, meetings, and appointments.
Maintain accurate records and filing systems for administrative and purchasing documentation.
Assist with Administrative SHEQ duties.
Manage purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and placing orders.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely restocking of office supplies and materials.
Liaise with vendors and internal teams to ensure the prompt delivery of goods and services when necessary.
Support the finance department with invoice tracking and processing.
Assist with maintaining the office environment, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Grade 12, Senior Certificate and Basic Computer Literacy essential.
Professional (speak, read & write) proficiency in English and Afrikaans languages, essential.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Admin, purchasing and/or SHEQ qualification or training, would be advantageous.
Proven experience in office administration/Purchasing/OHS or a similar role.
Contactable references, are essential.
Strong knowledge of office management procedures and purchasing processes.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
Previous experience in office admin and purchasing.
