To our incredible performers, even when the winds pushed us indoors, you didn’t miss a beat! 🙂‍↕️🪇🎤

You turned the lapa into a sanctuary of rhythm, voice and vibration. A true spiritual concert. A masterclass evening, you brought the house DOWN and transformed the space into a full musical epiphany 🎶🔥✨.

Every note, every harmony, every drumbeat, every poem… it all landed with intention. You reminded us why Ya Badimo Fest is a celebration of spirit, sound, and soul.🎼🎺🪇☀️🪔

When the winds picked up and the weather shifted, we had no choice but to move the festival into the lapa — and honestly, it became one of the most beautiful parts of the day 🌬️➡️🔥.

What wasn’t in the plan turned into a soulful, intimate session that carried the energy forward in the most magical way. Inside the lapa, the sound wrapped around us perfectly, every voice and instrument landing just right. The atmosphere softened, deepened and became something truly special. Ya Badimo Fest held space for a cozy, collective experience that felt like being comforted by the music itself 🤲🏾✨.
am.orph3us .apollo artworks adorned the space with so much meaning and presence, turning the room into a living gallery that elevated the entire moment 🎨💛.

The vibe didn’t drop — it transformed and our harmonious Mokete continued!

What could’ve disrupted the flow instead became a reminder: where the people gather, the spirit follows. And the spirit was definitely with us in that lapa 🕯️✨

To all our guests, friends, family, supporters, collaborators and every villager from our growing village — thank you for showing up with love, intention, and pride. You are the heartbeat of Ya Badimo Fest. Your presence, your energy, your willingness to pour into this vision… that’s what makes this more than an event. It makes it a homecoming 🤲🏾💛.

The first half of Ya Badimo Fest 2025 was pure sunshine ☀️✨— literally and spiritually! The outside setup was STUNNING, the energy was soft and joyful, and the vibes just flowed🤲🏽🧡.

People arrived with warmth, excitement and open hearts… together creating a space filled with laughter, connection, and pure mokete magic 🎉🪩.

From the music that made us move, to the market stalls sharing local love, to the gentle summer breeze that kissed our skin — EVERYTHING aligned 🌻💫.

A massive thank you to our INCREDIBLE setup team — the backbone of this festival!
