Husband's heartfelt request for help‼️🙏🏽🙏🏽

Hello Rea Thusa/We Help family, friends and followers,

This woman on the picture is Ashleigh from Knysna and I would like to share my wife's story with you and your group... We are asking everyone to get behind Tanja and help us in raising the funds we so desperately need.

For the past six years, my wife has been courageously battling a relentless and painful condition — chronic osteomyelitis, an aggressive bone infection that just refuses to let her go. It took the government hospital a year and a half before they realised that the infection was in the bone (this after our family demanding an MRI), in the space of that year and a half she had been to the operating table more than 60 times with painful abscesses that needed to be drained and the Drs never investigated further as to why it kept happening. In that time, she lost her left leg above the knee, endured two more amputations, and undergone over 75 surgeries. Even after the last amputation drs are unable to get rid of the infection.

About a month ago another MRI was requested as the abscesses kept coming back and we received devastating news: the infection has returned, spreading into her bone and bone marrow. Private General surgeons suggested a hip disarticulation, an extremely high-risk operation where her entire leg — including the hip — would be removed. The survival rate is tragically low. only 5 out of 10 survive the operation, and even fewer make it past the first month due to complications.
Private orthopedic specialists believe that it is not necessary for the leg to be removed out of the hip as they have a specialized procedure that they can perform, and they have a cure rate of 90% — however a further amputation is still needed. The cost for the surgery, the team of doctors, anesthetists, and hospital stay is R400,000 of which we have raised just over R154 000 which has enabled us to arrange deposits for the whole team involved and the hospital and we have received a date for the surgery which is 29th July 2025.
We’ve been fighting this battle alone for so long. Emotionally, we are exhausted. Financially, we are broken — we’ve spent over R300,000 in the last three years alone through private doctors and operations, and every cent of our savings is gone.

"Jou voete makeer niks, " sè hospitaal‼️
HELP‼️

" Volgens dokters by Pholosong hospitaal makeer jou voete niks.

Baie dankie. 🙏🏽

Update‼️Mamelodi Hospital Patient‼️
With the intervention of Rea Thusa/We Help, the lady from Eersterust was admitted yesterday morning at the Mamelodi Hospital. At 21:00 last night she went to Theatre for surgery on her thumb.

The initial information was that they might have to amputate her finger, but luckily they did not. We are hoping that the surgery will have good results and have stopped the poison from the spider bite to spread.

We will keep you posted. In the meantime Pleae let your prayers flow over her.

Thank you for everyone who shared, comment and liked our page and this article. By doing so we increase the presure on the hospital and medical staff to do right by the patients.

May God bless you all.

Thank you.

Eersterust woman spent 5 days in Hospital without proper treatment or food‼️

Rea Thusa/We Help was told that for 5 days the woman was told by staff at the Mamelodi Hospital not to eat because she was going in for surgery on her finger and every time it was canceled.

Meanwhile her finger is getting worst, discolored and now there is a chance that she might lose her finger.

She was taken to hospital by an ambulance on Friday 20 June.
She was admitted kept in emergency and was only admitted to a ward on the 23rd of June.

And for the next five days she was basically starved while waiting for an operation on her finger.

She was in terrible pain, and she said pain medication was witheld from her.
"They also told me to dress my own finger knowing that it was difficult just using my one hand to do it," she said
While in hospital, she also picked up a rash on her entire body which she was also not treated for and it's getting worst.

After 5 days of the worst treatment she discharged herself.

Rea Thusa/We Help will intervene as she is going back to hospital tomorrow morning.

"People will die because of the treatment they recieve. It is indeed very discouraging ," she said.

Please keep her in your prayers.

Thank you.

UPDATE ON AIDON‼️
Chanel Cooke and her son Aidon (12-years old) just left the Mamelodi Hospital where doctors examined Aidon.
They were called in after Rea Thusa/We Help contacted the hospital management to do urgent assessment of the boy's condition.

According to the doctor who was specially assigned to examen Aidon, he said he is happy with his progress and told his mom that they cannot remove the plastor at this time.
He must return to the hospital on 6 July 2025 for further treatment.

We Thank the Hospital management in particular the Hospital CEO for always assisting us. National Department of Health (South Africa) Gauteng Health Department 🙏🏽🙏🏽

We also thank all our followers for your prayers and shares because this also puts pressure on the state facilities to do right by us. 🙏🏽🌺

Let us continue to keep the family in our prayers and for the police investigation to proceed well.

Thank you. 🙏🏽

"EXPERIMENT" WENT WRONG YET HOSPITAL DISCHARGED BLEEDING EERSTERUST BOY‼️

The 12-year old Aidon Cooke was discharged from the Mamelodi Hospital because a doctor said they "need his bed for another patient".
This is in spite of the fact that Aidon is experiencing intense pain and his leg started to bleed.
According to his mother Chanel Cooke, the doctor said they scheduled an appointment for 6 July 2025. They are apparently not concerned about the bleeding or the pain Aidon is experiencing.

Aidon was hit by a car on 9 June 2025. The doctors only operated on him nine days later on 18 June 2025 after Rea Thusa/We Help intervened.

However, it seems the operation did not go according to plan and instead of the doctor removing the plaster to see why his leg started to bleed, he sent him home.
We hope the Gauteng Health Department and National Department of Health (South Africa) can intervene as soon as possible.

Chanel said her child is crying, saying "no one will understand the pain I'm going through". He is only a baby.

In this country criminals receive faster and better treatment than children and law abiding citizens.
No doctor should be comfortable with what Aidon is going through. It is inhumane.
