*RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL*

*YOU’RE GOD’S CONSUMMATE MAN*

*Sunday, December 28th*

_*For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew]… (Ephesians 2:10 AMPC).*_

Have you ever thought about the fact that you’re God’s consummate man? He made you without any form of defect, limitations or inhibitions. You’re His excellently crafted masterpiece, perfect and complete. This is God’s perfect will; this is what He had in mind when He made you, and this is what’s on His mind today.

Hebrews 10:14 says, _*“For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”*_ That’s you; you’ve been perfected forever, and you can’t improve on perfect. Hallelujah! Even David understood this and said in praise to the Lord, _*“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well”*_ (Psalm 139:14). When God looks at you, He sees a consummate you; nothing missing, nothing broken.

It reminds of the Scripture that says, _*“…whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it…”*_ (Ecclesiastes 3:14). Whatever God does stands the test of time. His works are perfect. His works are eternal. When He created you, it wasn’t part of the plan for your kidneys, your heart or your lungs to fail or for you to have a blood condition.

It wasn’t part of the plan for your body to be bruised or mangled by sickness, disease or infirmities. You were perfected in health because there’s a perfection to the work of God. Genesis 1:31 says, _*“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good….”*_ Notice what it says: God saw everything that He had made, and He said they were very good, not partially good. You must see yourself in this light.

You’re consummate; that means you’re excellent, perfect, ideal, flawless, complete, supreme, whole. You’re replete with everything good, godly and divine. It helps you understand why the Bible says you’re complete in Christ (Colossians 2:10). This is why you must stand your ground and refuse to be sick. Refuse to be a failure or a victim in life. Walk in dominion and supremacy over Satan, his cohorts, and circumstances of this world. You’re God’s peculiar treasure, perfected in righteousness and holiness. Glory to His Name forever.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for fashioning me in excellence and perfection. I’m your consummate workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works. I walk in preordained pathways of success, victory, health and righteousness, complete in Christ, replete with your divine nature and life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL*

*FORGIVENESS AND HEALING*

*Sunday, November 23rd*

_*Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:16).*_

There’s a divine principle revealed in the verse above that many often overlook, and it’s the fact that healing can result, not only from prayer, but also from the rightness of our hearts, our humility and love toward one another in the body of Christ. For example, when you offend your fellow brother or sister in Christ, you should be quick to say, “I’m sorry; it was wrong of me to have spoken to you the way I did; I misjudged you. Forgive me.”

That’s what it means to confess your faults one to another. It means being humble enough to admit when you've spoken harshly, misjudged someone, or held on to an offense in your heart. Also, rather than condemn or criticize others, you pray for them. The Bible says that when you do this, it leads to healing. Read the opening scripture again.

It brings to mind a remarkable testimony told many years ago by R.W. Shambach about two women in a church he pastored. One had a goitre that wouldn’t heal despite countless prayers. The other couldn’t receive the Holy Spirit, no matter who laid hands on her. Unknown to many, the two women held a long grudge against each other.

One day, during a church service, the pastor observed their behaviour and was prompted to intervene. He boldly confronted them and urged them to reconcile. As they tearfully forgave each other and embraced, a miracle happened instantly: the goitre vanished, and the other lady began speaking in tongues. No additional prayer was necessary. What a lesson this is!

Sometimes, what might be hindering some people’s miracle isn’t the lack of prayer but their attitude. Perhaps they’re harbouring resentment, bitterness, or they’re refusing to walk in love. God pays attention to how you treat your brothers and sisters in Christ. Be warm and loving to everyone. There should never be any person that you don’t like.

Some people greet and relate with everyone else joyfully, but when it comes to a certain individual, their demeanour changes. That’s not the way of Christ. He calls us to love one another, forgive freely, and live peaceably with all men. Refuse to harbour grudges. As the Bible says, be quick to forgive, and quicker to pray for those who hate you, persecute, or spitefully use you (Matthew 5:44). It’s the way to a life of health, wholeness and unending blessings. Hallelujah!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for the humility and love that your Word and the Holy Spirit have produced in me. I walk in love toward all, quick to forgive and ready to intercede for others. I’m a channel of healing, restoration and peace, and my heart is full of your grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY=>* *||* *‭‭Colossians 3:12-13 KJV Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also [do] ye.* *||*

*||* *‭‭Matthew 5:23-24 KJV Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.* *||*

*||* *‭‭Ephesians 4:32 KJV And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.* *||*
