THE VDM SYNDROME — WHEN RIGHTEOUSNESS TURNS TO SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS

There comes a time when one must ask the hard questions — not to condemn, but to awaken conscience.

VDM (Very Dark Man) has built a brand around truth-telling and accountability, and for that, many respected him. He became a voice for justice, a defender of the ordinary Nigerian, and a symbol of fearless activism. But when the voice of correction begins to fight everyone else in the room, that voice must also pause and self-reflect.

WHEN THE FIGHT FOR JUSTICE BECOMES A FIGHT WITH EVERYONE

In recent months, VDM has been in one controversy after another — friend after friend, partner after partner, ally after ally. At what point do we stop saying “they’re all wrong” and start asking, “what if the problem is within?”

When every bridge you cross ends up burned, it’s time to check whether it’s the road that’s cursed or the driver that’s reckless.

There’s a fine line between courage and combativeness, and sometimes ego disguises itself as conviction.

THE DANGER OF THE “ONLY RIGHT” MENTALITY
You can’t continue to drag down everyone connected to you and still think heaven has appointed you as assistant Jesus.
No one is above correction — not even the critic.

Being right doesn’t mean being rude.
Standing for truth doesn’t mean humiliating others publicly.
Even Jesus confronted hypocrisy with mercy, not mockery.

There’s a quiet arrogance that comes when a person believes their moral compass is the only one that works. But true righteousness corrects in love; self-righteousness condemns in pride.

LOYALTY MUST NOT BLIND ACCOUNTABILITY

It’s okay to love VDM, to appreciate his passion for justice — but love must also speak truth.
A loyal friend doesn’t clap for your destruction; they caution you before you cross the line.

VDM needs to realize that not every battle requires a camera.
Sometimes, silence is not weakness — it’s wisdom.
Dialogue before exposure. Clarity before conclusion.

Because the moment your message becomes louder than your manners, people stop hearing truth — they only see noise.

1️⃣ Father, send Your angels of restoration to recover every virtue, opportunity, finance, and time that I have lost to the enemy — in JESUS’ NAME!

THE RISE OF MODERN BAAL

Once again, the spirit of Baal is rising —
not from ancient ruins, but from the altars of modern religion.

It no longer hides behind carved images or burning incense.
Now, it wears designer suits, stands on pulpits,
and preaches prosperity without purity.

The altars of Baal have returned —
not in the villages, but in the hearts of men
who once vowed, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

THE NEW FACE OF IDOLATRY

In our day, Baal no longer demands sacrifice — he demands compromise.
He feeds on fame, applause, and self-worship.

The golden calves are no longer made of metal — they are made of ministers.
Men now bow before personalities instead of Presence.
We have enthroned influencers and dethroned intercessors.

Think on this: Has your altar become your stage?

THE RETURN TO THE HIGH PLACES

Israel’s downfall always began in the high places.
Today, those “high places” are not mountains — they are ministries.

We’ve blended the sacred with the strange,
the prophetic with the pathetic,
the altar with the marketplace.

And still, God asks:
👉🏽 “How long will you halt between two opinions?”
