My brothers...
Sons of the same father.
Children who once slept on the same mat, ate from the same pot, and drank from the same stream.
Hear the voice of an elder.
Again, the messenger assigned to me led me into the council where the spirits of just men made perfect behold the affairs of families. I saw old men whose sweat built compounds, planted economic trees, acquired family lands, and left behind a name stronger than wealth.
They were NOT rejoicing.
They looked upon the earth- into their family with grief.
One elder spoke with tears in his eyes:
"When did brothers become competitors instead of companions?"
Silence filled that realm.
Then another said:
"We taught them to carry one another. We never taught them to climb by pushing a brother down."
"Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves." Romans 12:10
My brothers...
Who taught you to rejoice when your brother's business failed?
Who convinced you that your progress depends on another brother's downfall?
Who whispered into your ears that your own bl0_ood is your greatest rival?
An ancient wisdom said:
"When the right hand washes the left, and the left washes the right, both become clean."
Another elder said to me:
"One broomstick breaks easily; a bundle sweeps the compound."
The greatest tragedy in many families today is not poverty.
It is COMPETITION.
✓ One brother buys a car, and another cannot sleep.
✓ One builds a house, and another begins to spread rumours.
✓ One is promoted at work, and instead of celebration, jealousy enters the compound.
Some even visit strange prayer houses and diviners—not to seek God's blessing—but to inquire why their own brother is prospering; then- How to stop him.
This was never the way of our fathers.
• Cain looked at Abel until envy became murder.
• Joseph's brothers looked at his dreams until hatred became betrayal.
Jealousy has never built a family.
It only digs graves where destinies should have flourished.
My brother...
Your brother's light does not in anyway reduce your own.
✓ His harvest does not empty your field.
✓ His promotion does not cancel your destiny.
God has enough blessings for every child.
The river does not stop flowing because another man has fetched water.
So, celebrate your brother.
• Pray for him.
• Defend his name in his absence.
• Stand with him when others want to pull him down.
If God lifts one member of the family, let the whole family rejoice.
For one man's testimony can become the open door for many others.
Do not become the reason strangers laugh at your family. Rather, "Be the reason your father's name is remembered with honour".
The day brothers begin to clap for one another again, the gates of restoration will open over many families.
Warning
Hear the word of the Lord:
• Every spirit of envy, unhealthy competition, comparison, and hidden hatred operating within families shall be exposed and judged.
• Anyone building influence by dividing brothers is walking on a d@ngerous path.
• Repent while mercy still speaks.
I Pray for you tonight:
✓ May the Lord remove every seed of jealousy from our hearts.
✓ May He teach us to rejoice with those who rejoice.
✓ May brothers become protectors instead of competitors.
✓ May our family compounds hear songs of celebration instead of cries of division.
✓ May love become stronger than inheritance.
✓ May unity become greater than ambition.
