At the 2025 Administrative Accounts Session of the North West Regional Assembly in Bamenda, the Questor at the National Assembly and Member of Parliament for Ngoketunjia North, Hon. Njingum Musa, called on regional councillors, mayors and parliamentarians to put unity and collaboration at the centre of development efforts in the region. Addressing regional councillors during the session, he praised the growing spirit of teamwork within the Assembly and stressed that meaningful development can only be achieved when leaders work together in the interest of their communities.

Former students of GTHS and GTC Bamenda, under the GOTHSBESA Ex-Students Association, returned to their alma mater to reward excellence and support needy students through scholarships, academic prizes and donations of technical materials. The initiative, aimed at promoting technical education and encouraging hard work among learners, brought together students, teachers, education officials and ex-students who urged the younger generation to remain focused on their studies and practical skills. School authorities praised the gesture, describing it as a strong example of giving back and inspiring future generations.

The government of the Republic of the Congo🇨🇬 has resigned following the President’s inauguration, with Prime Minister Anatole Collinet Makosso submitting the government’s resignation on April 17, 2026; while the Constitution of the Republic of the Congo 2015 does not mandate such a move after an inauguration, Article 83 provides that the government is accountable to the National Assembly, which can force its resignation through a vote of no confidence, and in practice, this step allows the Head of State to reorganize the executive and form a new government.
