And still there are people believing we are fine, and we are not yet in the 6th mass extinction although experts say we are in the midst of it already. The last one was 65 million years ago and wiped out the dinosaurs, caused by a meteorite. This one will wipe us out, is caused by us, and is evolving even faster than previously predicted.

The accumulated wealth of the top 62 richest individuals on earth is equivalent the combined wealth of the bottom half of the total human population - that is around 3.5 Billion people. Let that sink in and still think all is fine.

Pigs has made an absolute artform out of eating. They eat anything, with such vigor it seems Heston Blumenthal just served up the best rotten guava ever! Not joking here, go Google this, if you stay still enough in their pen they will start eating you. Which brings me to the picture of Dinabone and Killer - why go to bed, sleep, get up and then go to the kitchen to eat - if you could just sleep in your food? We can learn from them.

The estimated one billion people who live in developed countries have a relative per capita consumption rate of 32. Most of the world’s other 5.5 billion people constitute the developing world, with relative per capita consumption rates below 32, mostly down toward 1. A real problem for the world is that each of us 300 million Americans consumes as much as 32 Kenyans. With 10 times the population, the United States consumes 320 times more resources than Kenya does.
Let that sink in - there is already not enough resources to sustain us, what if the rest of the Developing world, develop.
