Today’s fly reminded me why roller flying is never predictable.

One bird rolled down and then a hawk made an appearance during the kit fly. That’s part of the game — managing performance while dealing with real pressure.

I also gave a small loft update and spoke about TrueRoller — the management app I built for Birmingham Roller fanciers.

As part of HVBR’s structured breeding system, I decided to build something better.

So I created TrueRoller — a Birmingham Roller management app built by a fancier, for fanciers.

Pedigrees.
Breeding tracking.
World Cup scoring logic.
Loft management.
Training logs.
Excel import.

We are currently in beta and I’m looking for serious fanciers who want to help test and improve it properly.

Big things have been happening behind the scenes… and today I’m excited to finally share a small glimpse with you all.

A few of you will get early access to TrueRoller — a project I’ve been quietly working on to support Birmingham Roller fanciers in a whole new way.

This is still in beta, which means:
✔️ You get to try it first
✔️ You help shape the future of it
✔️ Your feedback really matters

If you’re selected as a beta tester, please share your experience and report any bugs you find so we can improve it.

⚠️ Note: Bird import is not working yet — it’s being worked on. For now, testers can enter a few birds on the app with their sire or dam for testing purposes

Haven’t posted much because most of my time has been spent on something off-camera.

It’s related to Birmingham Rollers and the future of the hobby.

Too early to talk about, but I’ll share when the time is right.

Let’s just say… it’s not about one loft.
