We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of celebrated comedian, actor, and writer Ebenhaezer Dibakwane. A friend to so many, he will be remembered for his off-the-wall humour, original style of stand-up comedy, and the joy he brought to audiences across South Africa.

Born in 1994, the youngish comic caught waves in when he won the Savanna Comics’ Choice Newcomer of The Year Award.

He subsequently won a second Savanna Comics’ Choice Award for Intermediate Comedian of The Year as well as two other Comic’s Choice nominations, showing how immensely popular and respected he was in the industry.

He was also recognized for his writing skills when he was nominated for a SAFTA for Best Achievement in Scriptwriting.
To know Ebenhaezer was to love him, and he’ll be sorely missed.
The Dibakwane family appreciates the support that has been shown thus far. Details for Memorial and Funeral services will be communicated in due course.
