The early church fathers fought many battles to preserve the essential truths of Scripture and the Gospel.

They labored diligently to give the Church of every age Creeds that would encapsulate faithful summaries of the Gospel.

Arguably, there's never been a time like ours that they are so needed.

Needed to help us define truth, correct error, summarize the faith and connect us to the faith of our fathers.

I enjoy commentaries on Creeds as a side read. I will be working my way through this work by Ben Myers.
