Today I learned that building software is not just about coding 😅
You can spend hours designing dashboards, deploying prototypes, fixing UI issues, thinking about scalability, backend architecture, hosting, support, permissions, and databases… then suddenly the conversation shifts into ownership, maintenance, deployment rights, and business expectations.
As developers, we sometimes think:
“Once the app works, everything is done.”
But real-world projects come with:
• communication challenges
• client expectations
• support boundaries
• hosting responsibilities
• scaling concerns
• long-term maintenance discussions
One thing I’m learning very fast:
Software development is just as much business communication as it is technical skill.
Still grateful for the experience though. Every project teaches something new 🚀
