The Geek Cricket Academy The Geek Cricket Academy is a cricket development academy based in Rustenburg, serving the wider Bojanala District in South Africa.

We offer professional cricket coaching, skills development, and cricket events at world-class facilities. We cater for cricketers of all abilities, from beginners to professionals through our various coaching programs. Our academy coaches utilise the latest coaching techniques, finest facilities and equipment to create an environment in which real learning takes place; an environment in which the

fine balance between challenge and support are fully understood and an environment in which thinking players are developed, enabling them to thrive on the field. We strive for quality in action, through respect, honesty, support, communication and trust, so as to build lasting relationships with our members. Private coaching is an hour long one-on-one session with a coach for players all of ages. After an initial assessment a personalised strategy is decided upon based on the strengths and weaknesses of the player. Sessions include:

Technical improvements
Game preparation, awareness and strategy
Personal growth and development
Video analysis when required

Celebrating the Revival of Cricket in Tsitsing & Bafokeng Communities.

On behalf of The Geek Cricket Academy NPC and our partners, the Office of Kgotla Ya Rakhudu, we would like to sincerely thank the Bojanala West Mini Cricket Committee and NWC Mini Cricket Coordinator Mr. Nation Ntlame for giving the deep rural community of Tsitsing, under the leadership of Kgosana Dr. Koketso Rakhudu, together with neighbouring Bafokeng communities, the opportunity to host what became a highly successful and record-breaking Zonal KFC Mini Cricket Festival.

The successful festival has given the revival of cricket in our communities a significant step forward.

What started as an effort to bring cricket closer to our children has now created a platform from which sustainable cricket development can grow.
We have bridged the gap. The foundation has been laid.

Our focus now is to build on this momentum and ensure that the children of Tsitsing and surrounding Bafokeng communities are playing cricket consistently — at schools, in communities and through structured development programmes.

We look forward to strengthening our partnership with North West Cricket, Bojanala West Mini Cricket, the Impala Cricket Hub and all stakeholders committed to taking cricket to communities where opportunities have historically been limited.

The festival was not the end — it was the beginning of a new cricket journey for our communities.

🏏 From Mini Cricket to the Hub, from the Hub to the Province — the pathway must remain open.
