“My name is Lele Ramanugu. I’m a mom. A daughter. And I’m living with end-stage kidney failure. I’m on dialysis 3 times a week just to stay alive. It’s painful. It’s exhausting. And it’s made working full-time nearly impossible.
My only real shot at life... is a kidney transplant.
But even with medical aid, I’m short R80,000 — the amount they won’t cover. That money would give me a second chance at life. A chance to raise my little girl. A chance to live for my aging mother, who’s still helping me raise her.
By some miracle, I’ve found two potential donors — but I also need to cover their medical work-up tests.
Everything depends on this moment. I’m not ready to die. I’m not ready to leave my child. I’m not ashamed to beg anymore.
