To all my fellow photographer friends : I am emigrating and selling majority of my studio stuff, including light stands, Godox Lights (studio strobes and video lights), kit bags, softboxes, and other small items. Some behind the scenes and what I've been up to lately! Shooting in slow motion requires a lot of innovation and automation to capture something that happens in mere split seconds! Meet : The DropRig. The final output of this capture will be posted soon! (Screen capture via phone)
Camera : Chronos 2.1 HD + Sandisk Ultra 3D 250GB SSD
Lens : Canon 100mm Macro F2.8
Lights : Godox VL200 x2 w/air cushioned stands
Rig : 3x pneumatic pistons connected to air compressor. Rig is held up with a C-Stand to adjust comfortably over the set. Arduino triggering to follow for precision timing and perfectly executed drops.

While film and photography has been a lifelong hobby, it took some time to make the transition from hobby to passionate business craft, putting behind an extensive career in the manufacturing and logistics industries.

The art of creation and appreciation of a finished product filtered through to the food industry, where Anja Brits Photography can be found photographing anything and everything a kitchen can offer.

This does not mean there is a limitation to the extent of work Anja Brits Photography offers; born and raised in South Africa has offered the privilege to photograph a vast amount of wildlife and landscapes. As an individual, Anja Brits thoroughly enjoys snorkeling – with camera in hand.
