An 18-year-old pupil is expected to appear before Bolobedu Magistrate's Court outside Tzaneen soon, on allegations that he r***d a 14-year-old fellow learner on Saturday night, 17 February 2024 at Mookgo block 7 Village in Mokwakwaila policing area. Police opened a case of r**e and immediately initiated the manhunt for the suspect. He was arrested shortly after the incident.

The recent reports in the murders across the province, has prompted the Limpopo Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe to order an immediate and thorough investigation into these incidents. Several cases of murder were reported.

A 34-year-old man was arrested on Sunday, 18 February 2024, for allegedly ra**ng his seven-year-old niece at their home in Elandskraal policing area under Sekhukhune District in the early hours of Saturday.
He is expected to appear before Marble Hall Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, 20 February 2024.
