šŸ’” ā€œShe Trusted Him—He Burned Her, Butchered Her Daughter, and RĆ _pĀ£d the Youngestā€

This is not just a crime.
It is a nightmare carved into reality.
A story so cruel, it feels impossible to speak—
But we must.

In the quiet hours of Thursday morning,
In the village of Shanelweni, eNgome 2,
A 13-year-old girl was sleeping beside her older sister.
She was safe.
She was home.
Until the sound at the door shattered everything.

🩸 It was her mother’s boyfriend.
A man they knew.
A man they trusted.
He had already set their mother on fire—
A 41-year-old woman, burned until she d!Ā£d.
Then he came for her daughters.

He hàck£d the 28-year-old with an axe.
And when the youngest tried to help,
He dragged her into the forest,
Where he rà_p£d her.
While her mother’s room still burned behind them.

šŸ’” This is not just v!ā—!ence.
It is evil in its purest form.
It is betrayal.
It is horror.
It is the kind of pain that no sentence can erase.

Thanks to the swift action of Vryheid K9 Unit and Hlobane police,
The 48-year-old suspect was tracked and arrested in KwaMnyathi.
He now faces charges of mā™”.rder, attempted mā™”.rder, and rĆ _pe.
He will appear in Louwsburg Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 7 November 2025.

To the mother: You d!Ā£d in agony, but your story will not be buried in smoke.
To the daughters: You were failed by someone who should have protected you. You are not alone.
To the community: We must never be silent when mā—ns+Ā£rs wear familiar faces.

This is not just a case.
It is a cry for justice.
And a reminder that we must protect our women and children—before the fire starts, before the axe falls, before the silence wins.

Community members let's keep to our gate posts and stay vigilant! Let's work together to combat crime in our community reporting suspicious activity without fear. Together we can build a safe neighborhood for all.
Thank you..

1. Teach elderly residents how to use panic buttons or phones.
2. Always check ID of utility workers.
3. Never announce your movement - Especially on calls, Facebook status etc or to strangers.
4. Close curtains: at night - Don't let outsiders see what's happening inside.
5. Look out for unusual vehicle or people parked nearby.
6. Report repeated sightings to the police, metro CPF or neighborhood watch.
7. Organise street watch and patrols on Rotation.
8. A visible presence discourages crime. Let's install cameras in most streets.
9. Keep a copy of important documents in a safe place - for quick access after theft or šŸ”„ fire.
10.Dont let strangers use your phone or enter to "Charge" theirs.
11. Label gates or units clearly - emergency responders should find your home easily.
12. Avoid confronting criminals alone - always call for help first.
13. Talk to children about Online Safety - they should never share personal info or meet strangers. šŸ’ÆšŸ‘Š
