I bought a new telly to be ready for the digital switch over next year. A Logik from Curries. Has a built in DVD player which I thought was pretty cool. The damn thing is locked on region 2 so I can't play my NTSC DVDs from the USA. Why do the buggers do that? Now I've got to try to track down the engineer's code that gets you in to the menu to unlock the regions. Anyone know any disgruntled Curries engineers?

This Thursday, 11pm, BBC 4, a whole hour of Bert Jansch in concert from 2003. Where has that footage been all this time and why do we have to wait for him to die before they broadcast it?

Morning all. Flic and I just got back from 12 days in France. Eating, drinking, shopping and dodging French drivers. Brilliant!

Help please! I am trying to get this old lock back to shiny steel. I have removed many old coats of paint with Nitromors. Then I tried the old vinegar and baking soda trick which did nothing. Then resorted to a variety of sanding tools. I am stuck with all those black marks that I can't shift. Any thoughts?
