π PERSONALITY OF THE WEEK π
CAN WE MEET YOU?
My name is Sosanya Oluwakayode. I am someone who loves God, values family and genuine relationships, and enjoys being around good people. I am also passionate about creativity, learning, teaching and making a difference wherever I find myself. I believe there is always room to grow, learn and become better.
YOUR DATE OF BIRTH?
November 19.
TELL US BRIEFLY ABOUT YOUR FAMILY AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND?
I was raised in a family of five, consisting of my parents and three children. As the firstborn, I grew up with a strong sense of responsibility and leadership. My family has greatly influenced my values, discipline, and the way I relate with people.
Furthermore, I hold a B.Sc. Ed. in Accounting and few professional certificates. My studies gave me a solid understanding of accounting and education, while also developing my analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. These experiences have contributed significantly to my personal and professional development.
RELATIONSHIP STATUS?
Beautifully Married to the love of my life..β€οΈ
HOW DID YOU GET TO BE A MEMBER OF DWI?
I became a member of DWI through Apostle Sir Tydunamis and also because I wanted a place where I could grow in my walk with God, connect with other believers and serve God actively. I also wanted to be part of something beyond just attending church but a community where I could contribute and grow alongside others.
WHAT IS THE MOST MEMORABLE AND SIGNIFICANT LESSON YOU HAVE GAINED FROM DWI?
Papa and DWI at large as taught me that serving God requires commitment, not convenience.
And at times we may not feel like showing up or may have other things competing for our attention, but there is something beautiful about making ourself available to God.
DWI has also taught me that everyone has something valuable to contribute, no matter how big or small the role may seem.
WHATβS YOUR MOST FAVORITE SCRIPTURE THAT INSPIRES YOU, AND HOW DOES IT IMPACT YOUR LIFE?
*Proverbs 3:5β6 is one scripture I hold close to my heart*
_Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding._
It reminds me that I donβt have to understand everything before I trust God. There are situations where I may not know what the next step is, but I can still choose to trust that God knows the way. It helps me stay calm, hopeful and dependent on God.
WHO IS YOUR MOST FAVORITE CHARACTER IN THE BIBLE AND WHY?
David.
I find Davidβs story very interesting because he wasnβt perfect, but he had a heart that continually turned back to God. From facing Goliath to becoming king, his journey was filled with challenges, victories and mistakes.
What I admire most is his courage, faith and relationship with God. His story reminds me that your weaknesses donβt disqualify you from Godβs purpose.
YOUR BEST FOOD?
Rice and chicken with a sprinkle of salad Abi coleslaw
YOUR BEST GOSPEL ARTISTE?
Dunsin Oyekan.
I love the depth of his worship. His songs arenβt just songs I listen to; many times they help me quiet my mind, focus on God and reflect.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
I enjoy listening to music, teaching, creative activities, meeting people, spending quality time with family and friends, and working on interesting ideas or projects.
I also enjoy anything that gives me an opportunity to be creative.
WHICH UNIT DO YOU SERVE IN DWI?
Drama Unit.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE IN DWI?
One of my most remarkable experiences in DWI has been having the opportunity to serve God through the Drama Unit/Drama ministration. Being able to use drama to communicate Godβs message to touch someoneβs heart and make them think differently has been both fulfilling and spiritually rewarding.
It has also given me the opportunity to learn from others and grow in my relationship with God.
ANY OTHER INFORMATION YOU WANT US TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I am just someone who believes in God, growth, family and purpose.
I donβt believe I have everything figured out, but I am grateful for the journey so far and for the people God has placed around me. I believe every experience either good or bad has something to teach us.
Ultimately, I want my life to reflect God, positively impact people and leave something meaningful behind wherever I go.
