Two men were kidnapped in broad daylight at To***co Junction in Lenasia, Johannesburg.

The incident reportedly happened just metres from a police station, leaving people shocked by how openly it allegedly took place.

“My taxi brother has an Ostomy. He drives a taxi. He has a stoma and he doesn't have enough ostomy bags. Think about that for a second. He has to work. He has to drive. And he has to put food on the table.

But what happens when the bag he has is finished? There isn't a cupboard somewhere that he can just walk into and collect another one. There isn't a pharmacy around the corner that he can afford to buy them from. So people are forced to improvise.....

And this is the part nobody wants to talk about. This is what happens when you have an ostomy in South Africa. You don't get to stop having a stoma because you can't get a bag.

Your body doesn't wait for payday. Your stoma doesn't care that the healthcare system failed you. You still have to get up tomorrow and go to work. And today... I met one of those people. My taxi brother.

If you have bags sitting unused at home because you no longer need them, please don't throw them away. Someone is literally trying to work without one. Let's get them to the people who need them.”

Shebeshxt’s case has been postponed to 17 May 2027, when his trial is expected to begin.

The Lekompo musician is facing 22 charges, including attempted murder, assault, robbery, unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, culpable homicide and reckless driving.

The State plans to call 22 witnesses.

Meanwhile, Shebeshxt’s new lawyers say they intend to apply for the magistrate’s recusal, claiming he is biased against their client. The allegation has not been determined by the court.

The major question now is whether Shebeshxt’s legal team can secure bail before the May 2027 trial.

A mother who lost her seven-year-old son in the Vaal scholar transport crash broke down in tears after the driver accused in the crash, Ayanda Dludla, was granted R3,000 bail.

The crash happened on 19 January 2026 when the scholar transport minibus collided with a side-tipper truck on the R553 Golden Highway. Fourteen learners died and three others were injured.

Dludla faces 14 counts of murder, three counts of attempted murder and several road-traffic-related charges.

The grieving mother says the bail decision is especially painful because Dludla lives in the same community, meaning she may have to see him regularly while she continues to mourn her son.

Dludla must report to police every Friday, may not drive any vehicle while the case is ongoing and may not interfere with witnesses. His trial is expected to take place in November.

BREAKING: School Teacher Seen Kicking and Punching Learner During Confrontation

A teacher is seen physically confronting a learner inside a classroom, with the learner being kicked and punched during the confrontation.

The incident has raised questions about discipline in schools, with some people defending the teacher and saying that learner behaviour has become increasingly difficult to control. Others argue that, regardless of the learner’s behaviour, physical violence is not an acceptable form of discipline.

Woman Says HIV Medication Destroys Her Body Shape

A woman living with HIV has opened up about how she believes ARVs changed her body shape after she started taking the medication.

She says she was once proud of her God-given body and had a beautiful, well-shaped figure before her HIV diagnosis. However, after starting ARV treatment, she claims her body changed significantly, leaving her feeling that she had lost the shape she once had.

She says the changes have made her unhappy with her appearance and admits that she now hates the medication because of what she believes it did to her body.
