⚠️ A Story by Bells Bigwan as an Uber driver ‼️‼️

The other night I got a request in Boksburg — two guys, late at night. At first, they seemed chilled, just chatting quietly in the back. But halfway through the trip, one leaned forward and asked me in a low voice:

"Driver… you don’t mind if we make a quick stop, right?"

Before I could answer, the other one pulled out a gun and placed it on his lap. My whole body went cold.

They made me stop outside a dark street corner. One guy jumped out and disappeared into the shadows. The other stayed in the car, watching me, finger tapping on the weapon. I was praying silently, just wanting to get out of there alive.

Minutes later, the first guy came running back, breathing heavy, carrying something stuffed in his jacket. He jumped in and yelled, "Go, go, go!"

I drove as calmly as I could, heart racing, every second feeling like an hour. Finally, they told me to stop, threw a few notes on the seat, and vanished into the night.

I sat there shaking, realizing how close I came to being caught up in something deadly — or worse, not making it home at all.

Since that night, I keep reminding myself: as an Uber driver, you never really know who’s getting into your car.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS | SOWETO TAXI DRIVER FOUND DEAD 💔

The Monama family from Emndeni has confirmed the tragic death of their loved one, 37-year-old Lebohang Monama, who went missing last week.

👉 His body was discovered near a mine outside Randfontein, after community patrol members alerted the family.

Lebohang, a driver under the WATA Taxi Association, was last seen driving a white Toyota Quantum (Reg: 010 SEK GP) on Thursday evening.

🚌 The following day, his taxi was found burnt out in a field in Slovoville, suspected to have been stripped before being set alight.

💔 Days later, Lebohang’s body was found with a gunshot wound to the back of the head. His body had already begun decomposing, showing it had been at the site for several days.

💬 Family spokesperson Mbali Gwebu:

> “We are deeply heartbroken by what has happened to Lebohang. He was a cheerful person who was always laughing. We are grateful to Jozi FM and the community for their support during the search.”

📍 Police in Naledi have opened a case and launched a full investigation.

Four taxi drivers have been arrested after kicking a family of three out of their own car and taking it.

The family thought their car was stolen, so they called their car tracker company. The tracker team quickly found the car, shot two of the taxi drivers in the legs, and held them until police arrived.

All four drivers are now under arrest and could face up to 15 years in prison each.
